「We thought the hotel was perfect. We frequent sanibel. Staying in almost a different place everytime. This place is definelty not the cheapest. But everything was on point. Clean beautiful. My kids really appreciated the kayak and paddle boards. So did their grandmother actually. We will be back again some day.」

「The room was a good size, with a fridge and microwave. Having a guide for the TV channels was helpful. There are so many good points--great location right on the beach, a tiki bar, hammocks, and an on-site restaurant. We enjoyed every minute we were here--the staff made us feel like we were very much appreciated guests.」

「I stayed at this property with my husband for almost a week. Super quick walk to the beach from our room and the hotel provides chairs and umbrellas. Our favorite amenity was the bikes that they let you check out. We rode the bikes all over the Island and it was wonderful. The staff refreshed our towels every day while we were out so that was really nice to come back to. The only negatives are that there was only 1 mirror in the room and it was in the bathroom and the TV was hard to navigate at...

「The rooms were lovely and well appointed. The linens were not soft, but the beds were clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The lounge chairs have no cushions and it made it difficult to spend time at the pool sunning. I was told by the manager they have been ordered. The rooftop could use more furniture aside from two benches. All in all, it was a fun few days despite cloudy weather and a drizzly day. No fault of the Shalimar Resort.」

「I think the next time we would choose a location, a little further back into the facility. Although it was very quiet, we did have an air-conditioning vent in the bathroom at the base of the toilet for some reason and the last morning we were there the television would not turn on. Other than that, the pool was clean the towels were fresh. The people at the counter were very helpful.」

「I ended up not staying at this property because the condition of the room was unacceptable. Upon entering, there was a strong moldy smell. I tried turning on the air conditioning to see if it would improve the odor, but it did not help. The room itself appeared unclean. The desk was dirty, the toilet had not been properly cleaned, the mirror was visibly dirty, and the bed looked as though someone had started making it but never finished. Even the hand soap had already been opened, which raised...
