“We thought the hotel was perfect. We frequent sanibel. Staying in almost a different place everytime. This place is definelty not the cheapest. But everything was on point. Clean beautiful. My kids really appreciated the kayak and paddle boards. So did their grandmother actually. We will be back again some day.”

“I stayed at this property with my husband for almost a week. Super quick walk to the beach from our room and the hotel provides chairs and umbrellas. Our favorite amenity was the bikes that they let you check out. We rode the bikes all over the Island and it was wonderful. The staff refreshed our towels every day while we were out so that was really nice to come back to. The only negatives are that there was only 1 mirror in the room and it was in the bathroom and the TV was hard to navigate at……

“The rooms were lovely and well appointed. The linens were not soft, but the beds were clean and the mattress was very comfortable. The lounge chairs have no cushions and it made it difficult to spend time at the pool sunning. I was told by the manager they have been ordered. The rooftop could use more furniture aside from two benches. All in all, it was a fun few days despite cloudy weather and a drizzly day. No fault of the Shalimar Resort.”

“Room was horrible smelt like cigarettes and mold. The fire alarm was ripped out of the wall with wires hanging out. Bedding was all stained yellow. Would go out for breakfast and there would be nothing left or everything was scattered and messy. Had do not disturb thing on door. House keeping would start banging on the door at 7 in the morning. People were yelling and screaming all hours of the night. Doors were constantly being banged on. Horrible experience should of gotten a refund after the……
