"This is my 4th stay at the Sanibel Inn. I love the friendliness of the staff. I had a great update about the island from Ryan at the front desk. Leon was kind and thoughtful as he had my towel and umbrella ready for me at the beach. The rooms are beautiful and clean. I loved the new updates such as the motorized blinds and the lighting features. The kitchenette and bathroom were stunning. I cannot wait to come back to my second home! "

"Tarpon Tale Inn is a hidden treasure! If you want a quiet getaway on Sanibel Island with quick access to the beach, a private patio and grill, access to bicycles, an outdoor hot/cold shower, a shell washing station, and beach chairs/umbrella/wagon - this is it! The owner, Joe, has an eye for detail and it shows throughout your stay. I wanted a beach experience and that’s exactly what I got at Tarpon Tale Inn. Other than to explore (Blind Pass, Bowman Beach, Turner Beach and Captiva) the island and pick up a few things at Jerry’s, I had no need to drive. Wickie’s and Tuttle’s are directly across the street, and a deli place is next door - the Sanibel lighthouse is a .6 mile bike ride and beach access is just around the corner is across the street. The king room with full kitchen was nicely equipped and the bed was incredibly comfy. So clean! The “no-seeums” were present and accounted for, mostly at dusk and dawn, not a Tarpon Tale Inn issue because they were everywhere on the island. Guests are offered use of bug spray in the office as a shared option. The Tarpon Tale has a quaint beach vibe I know you will love! "
