Sanibel Beach Hotel

"I booked a suite which wasn't cheap, only to find out it's above the office and the farthest room from the beach. The property was understaffed with one person working the Tiki Bar and one bartender in the restaurant resulting in long wait times to get a drink or food. The beach is very nice, the pool area just ok. "

"Ongoing construction in the complex next door was only negative. It has to be done for the island to fully recover, so I was okay with it."

It would have been even better if greater attention had been given to environmental sustainability—for example, providing recycling options in the rooms and avoiding plastic straws, cups, and cutlery at the pool restaurant. Sanibel Island is a beautiful and fragile environment that deserves to be protected."

"We enjoyed a superb week! Staff was extremely helpful, our room was clean and quiet. The inn provided beach chairs, towels, and carts for the 10 minute walk to the beach, even a shell cleaning station. Plenty of bikes for guests to use. Excellent dining and ice cream shop available across the street. We can't wait to go again next year!!"
