「Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. 「We had a fantastic stay at Lizard Safari Lodge. The rooms are clean and well kept, with a nice big bed, mosquito net and fan. Our room had a balcony which was great to sit out on in the late afternoon. Dinner was delicious on both nights of our stay (as was breakfast) with a good selection of food and very generous portion sizes! Nandu could not have been kinder, taking us on a tour of the village and to a local swimming spot on the afternoon of our arrival, and providing snacks and ice creams....

「Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation.」

「The owner's attitude was nice, location is quite close to the Udawalawe National Park. Breakfast however was only an omelet, 2 pieces of toast and a small cup of juice for each person which wasn't enough for us. The room was full of dust, and the air coming out of the AC feels like mold. If you want to join the safari, the owner has a jeep and a driver to take us into the safari in the morning which needs an additional cost, and we feel it's a little too high price.」
