"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

"I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. "Amazing hotel. Staff so lovely and helpful, grounds beautiful, fantastic pool and pool area. This was a short stay, arriving in the afternoon for a flight the next morning but could have stayed here much longer. So peaceful, really unlike any airport transit hotel I have ever stayed in. We only had dinner and all had different things but all were delicious. Free transfer to the airport in the morning was exactly at the agreed time. Thank you very much for a perfect last night in Sri Lanka."

"Cassendra staff eere welcoming and helpful - even before I arrived. They helped me find affordable transport for a day trip and when needed were able to serve my dinner extra quickly. Wifi was touch and go but ultimately held for a few video calls. The hotel is a bit old but rooms are spacious and clean with great bathrooms. The location is know to tuktuk drivers and the mountain offers amazing views. Its also very close to the best Kandyan dancers (5 min walk) and a view point!"

"A really lovely accommodation with the most incredible views. The room was clean and spacious with a balcony so you wake up to a view of the mountails The host Priyanatha is so warm, welcoming and always available to help. Breakfast was lovely (especially the hoppers). A short walk (or tuk tuk) into town. Loved my stay here! Thank you!"
