"The day before ous stay we were informed that they had no room for us the first day. The alternative they offered was not an option in any way. "The property had a lovely studio type room ie bed, kitchenette, bathroom. An Italian breakfast was supplied on the rooftop of the premises. This was a lovely spot to dine. The hosts helped with meal recommendations & ringing taxis. So they helped to make my stay more pleasurable. I would have liked a few amenities for the 4 star status eg tissues, shower cap, vanity set. I was greeted with a bottle of wine and a yummy cake, though. Lecce is a beautiful Baroque city. The Old Town is one of the prettiest and cleanest I’ve seen in Italy. There are a lot of sights to see too eg churches, main entry gates, Roman amphitheatre, Duomo & bell tower with excellent views over the city. I’d recommend this town to everyone."

"We had a very good stay overall. The hotel is beautifully located near the beaches, and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and service-oriented. The food at the restaurant was not really to our taste, and unfortunately, the pool is not heated, so due to the weather we were unable to use it. One thing that could definitely be improved is the access road to the hotel, which is unpaved. For a hotel of this standard, we would expect a properly paved road, or at least a well-maintained gravel road. Overall, a very pleasant experience with a great location and excellent service."
