「This hotel is exceptional. Obviously a labour of love. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful and they even made a vegan one for us!」

「This is a new hotel that opened on Oct 31st, 2025. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We had an issue with the AC and it was resolved very quickly. We got a room with 2 queen-size beds. The room was large and spotless. The hotel was also in a very good location within walking distance to all the places we wanted to visit. The Martis bar in the hotel was just the right size and served excellent food and drinks. Definitely will stay here again for our future visits to Oaxaca.」

「The hotel is new, well situated, and has great amenities including a second story bar/patio area and a rooftop dipping pool with loungers. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Ivan and Antonio both made our stay particularly enjoyable; however, all of the staff were wonderful. I highly recommend Casa Zina to anyone looking for accommodations in El Centro.」

「Excellent gem of a find in the Reforma area of Oaxaca City. Great value, very secure, nice pool area, modern room and comfortable bed, walkable to lots of food options, and has private and secure parking. 」

「Our family was obsessed with the large property thanks to its perfect layout for family gatherings, breakfasts around the enormous dining table, and relaxing evenings on the rooftop. The neighborhood wasn't the sexiest but the house was a short 10 minute taxi ride to central Oaxaca. The hosts were amazing and easy to communicate with which made our family vacation relatively stress free.」

「Un trato excelente, están al tanto de los huéspedes. Alrededor hay varios comercios como restaurantes, farmacias, cafés. El lugar es acogedor, limpio y seguro y hay donde dejar el auto. Un hotel excelente para quedarse en Oaxaca y llegar pronto al centro. 」

「Great hotel just a 5 minute walk to the Zocalo. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was incredible, as good as anything we ate throughout our stay. The staff were all great, with a special shoutout to Fernanda at the front desk and the servers at breakfast for making everything so nice. Highly recommended!」
