Sleeps 10, 4 bedrooms. 2 full baths. 1 has a bath tub. Parking for 3 cars in the newly paved driveway. Recently refurbished in 2015-2016, Built in 1883 This is a spacious 2,400 sq. ft. historic farm home that has belonged to the same family since 1912 with large Great Room windows and a 1200 sq.ft. redwood deck and a brick patio with a nicely sized outdoor table and a rock fire ring overlooking the Twin Lakes Beach and 7th Avenue Lighthouse, and the Harbor Beach, the Waves, the Sailboats gracefully drifting in and out of the Harbor.

Just 1/2 block to the beach. The kitchen and entertainment room have refinished hardwood floors, custom cabinetry, marble and butcher block counter tops and a mini bar. The entertainment room features a 60 inch flat panel screen and 5.1 surround sound system.
In The Great Room the Living Room and Dining Room are at each end with original hardwood floors and large wool oriental carpets. Dining table seats 8 (16 with the leaves).
The Primary bedroom with a king bed has a wonderful view from large windows facing the lake and beach. It also has a private door on the downstairs bath. This bathroom has a shower/tub with handicapped rails and a door onto the hall. The 2nd floor has additional bedrooms. The 1st bedroom has a Double bed with large windows facing the lake and ocean. The 2nd bedroom has large windows facing the ocean a queen bed and two twin bunk beds. The 3rd bedroom has a double bed. The bathroom upstairs is large with a shower and front loading laundry machines. All of the hardwood floors upstairs have been refinished.
Extra Sleeping upstairs with 2 twins.
The deck has a teak table with 8 chairs. There are four large adjustable deck chairs and a beautiful ocean view. the brick patio with the fire pit has 8 Adirondack chairs and a charcoal BBQ
WI-FI internet at the home. 5 min drive to Capitola, 5 min drive to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. 5 min walk to the yacht harbor.

Everything you'd want in a Santa Cruz house
Great location and you can see and walk to the local beach, the harbor and lighthouse, and the Boardwalk. You're on East Cliff drive, but the property is elevated above street level so it does feel separated from the traffic even if you hear the random harley ride by.
The home is accurate to the pictures and description. The kitchen is well equipped, there is plenty of living space for 10+ people, the beds are comfortable, the linens are clean.
My family unanimously voted to book again next summer

We were more than pleased with the property. I was concerned that this 140 years house would be cold & drafty, but it was quite comfortable. We did not need to use the heater at all. It has a nice TV, but we enjoyed the view so much we never watched TV at all. The beds & pillows were clean & comfortable; we all slept well. The showers were good; with 6 people taking showers we had plenty of hot water. The was a fairly new washer & dryer. This house has many picture depicting the history of this old, but charming house. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Eastside Santa Cruz
We enjoyed our time in this "vintage" beach house. The home is older and creaky as you move about but that is part of its charm. There were 11 of us. We were comfortable in the bedrooms and the dining table expanded to accommodate our group. The kitchen had enough pots and pans and other necessities for us to prepare our meals easily. The views of the ocean were enjoyed inside and out all week long. The home is accessed via a small street/alleyway but we had no issues with our 12 passenger van getting to the home or parking in the large driveway which would have accommodated at least one additional car. The management team had information regarding the rental at the house and clear expectations for the home and for check out. It was a very enjoyable week and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Thanksgiving Getaway
Great home, centrally located between Santa Cruz and Capitola. We enjoyed our morning coffee with bay/lighthouse views and had the most stunning sunsets from the large dual windows. The interior was cozy and clean with a vintage vibe.
No garage but we made it work and were even able to fit two large trucks and a full size car (with a little creative positioning) on the driveway.

Mixed Bag
The exterior of the property is quite attractive and the outside seating is well done. The views are spectacular!
The interior is another story. Although the interior of the home is preserved as an ode to the past and there is indeed some charm, too much of it comes off as just old. The dishwasher was broken as well. The TV only gets about six channels in English. Why can't owners just pay for the basic package so visitors can at least watch ESPN. It rained two out of the four days we rented and a newer TV that we could have accessed Netflix and Prime on would have been helpful. A gas grill would make a huge difference.

Highly Recommend
Stayed here with our wedding friends and family for our wedding weekend in Santa Cruz. The house was perfect and in such a good location. We are local to the area but decided to stay on the beach for the weekend. House was furnished well and met all of our expectations. Would highly recommend and would love to stay here again.

We had such a great time here. Great cooking kitchen, big comfortable couch and Window seat in tv room for movies! Many Nights sitting by our own fire pit. Everyone loved the beds. Loved having coffee in the morning looking at the ocean. Dinner outside overlooking the ocean!

Very relaxing and perfect location!
Been staying on 12th Avenue and East Cliff for over 22 years! This house has a great deck with 3 great areas, one with chaise lounges which face the ocean, another area includes a fire pit, and a large table and umbrella which was great for playing games while watching the waves! The house has a great flat screen TV area and another dining and living room.. We are loved it!

Great location, but a little outdated
The location is wonderful, you cannot beat the views! We had plenty of room for the whole family and enjoyed the games and puzzles. The overall cleanliness was just ok. Some of the kitchen utensils were old and rusty and some walls and doors were a bit grimy. It's time to replace the frying pans with non-stick coating that's badly scratched.
