Amazing

The property is amazing. It is very comfortable. The view is breath taking. Easy to get back to Santa Fe if you want to eat there or you can cook at the house. The bed was very comfortable. We had an amazing time horseback riding. Check out Vision Quest Horseback and Lessons while you are here. We would rent again.

Fun with a View

The house is located within the bishop slouch complex. If you try a trip over to the restaurant don't expect their service to improved. It's still very slow the house is much better than the lodge. Anyways, we love the location and it served as a great base camp to go. Have fun in Santa Fe would recommend it to anyone and stay there and get myself.

We got stranded in a blizzard for our anniversary!We loved the fireplaces and the casa!The only negative some of the French doors would not lock!Not a secure feeling !Need to repair bedroom door locks!

Cowboy Villa has a warm, homey feel with lots of southwest charm. The kitchen is well stocked which is always a plus. It can be a bit challenging to find it's location and a lock box placed on the front door with the house key would be much more convenient for renters rather than having to drive to the property management office to pick it up.

Located above Bishops Lodge in a community of homes this location has easy access to Santa Fe & allows you to avoid the crowds. We enjoyed the pool & views from the pool which we walked to each morning with our coffee. We found the view from the patio limited over the fence. I’ve stayed in many VBOs & for the premium price I expected more. They only provide a minimum of materials (2 dish washing pods, 2 pods for washing machine, hotel travel shampoo, few spices & no Kleenex) for a 7 day stay. Clearly this is only a vacation rental similar to a hotel.

Beautiful property

My family of four was very comfortable at this property. We arrived after dark and it was a bit of a challenge to find our exact villa amongst all the other villas. But once we located it we had an incredible stay. Would stay here again. Close to town and not too far from Ski Santa Fe.

Lovely stay. 10-minutes north of town, offering hillside views that feel remote within quiet neighborhood. Kokopelli Property Management was very professional and responsive. Would absolutely choose this location again. We prefer out of town for quiet and more landscape (less city) experience. This location was an excellent choice.

Perfect SantaFe

My wife and I have made SantaFe a part off our annual western travels for years. This property made it the perfect stay! Far enough from the center of town to get away from the crowds (about 12 min), an unobstructed view of mountain peaks and valleys, spectacular sunsets and then the property itself. This Villa is built and decorated to the highest standards. The furniture, decor and linens are of the highest quality and the overall experience is one of relaxed elegance. Love this place and will request it by name on future stays.

Roof leaked but nice property

The roof had a serious leak. We brought this to the attention of the property manager and they never responded until we told them again at check out. They were difficult to deal with when we asked for consideration given the leak. Great neighborhood and nice unit but will not work with Kokopelli again.

Give Cowboy Villa a try...you won't be disappointed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I read some concerning reviews regarding this property, however, we found it to be quite comfortable. Very well appointed. We did not experience anybod the problems that were mentioned in earlier reviews. The motif was very different than what we would have usually selected, but variety is the spice of life and it was done tastefully and was well appointed. They do need to fix the outdoor lights as we had to use our flashlights walking down the path from our car. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at the Cowboy Villa.

Outstanding!

Condo was fantastic! Beautiful decor and art, impeccably clean and comfy. View out the very large living room sliding glass doors was amazing. It was nice that the unit wasn’t connected to other units and it felt very private. Nice courtyard and multiple small patios with sitting areas surrounded the home. No complaints at all! Thank you for an amazing stay.

Bishop Lodge Review

This property was comfortable but could have been cleaned better. When we checked in there was a large pile of dead ants in the bathroom next to a hole in a wall. Given the price per night I feel like more attention to cleanliness was warranted. The house is overly decorated with Southwestern influences and has nice outdoor space. There is ample seating throughout the home. The separate bedrooms with bathrooms was a nice set up. The coffee maker didn’t work so I’m hopeful that will be fixed for the next people who stay. The entire community was quiet and dark making for a nice view of the stars at night. We would stay at another property when we come back to Santa Fe to understand what else is available.

Quiet beauty

The stay was perfect for our needs. We felt as if we were the only ones in the whole world for just a weekend and that the spectacular view was ours alone! The house is perfectly decorated and met our expectations. But by far, the best aspect was the crystal clear perspective of the mountains and the birds the flew around chirping while we drank coffee and watched the inspiring view. The kitchen as well is spacious and well equipped - it is more than enough for a group of four to enjoy cooking together throughout the stay. We had a great time and cannot wait to get back!
