Stay here for the proximity to the beach. The unit is on the far west end of The Legends complex. It is a block and a half walk to Spooky Lane Access. It is close enough that you can easily walk back and forth to the beach during the day.
Great Location! Short walk to the beach. Nice swimming pool and hot tub on the property. The new updates in the unit are nice. Communication with the property manager was pleasant and efficient. The master bedroom gets really hot upstairs but cooled down eventually at night. We had a great stay and hope to return soon.
It was comfortable, could use update, carpets/furniture should be replaced. The location is amazing, we’ve been coming to this area for 20+ years. Couple minute walk to the most amazing beaches! The price was a bit lower than other rentals in the area, we could see from the photos what to expect, it was pretty much as anticipated. I’m fine with outdated decor but cleanliness is important. Bedding felt fresh.
This is indeed a great rental. Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. It has all the amenities of a home. Would definitely rent again.
Our stay was fantastic. There was good space storage and easy access. The best part was having the beach access right across the street along with options for food within walking distance. The beds were comfortable. They were plenty of towels. The place was basic but comfy! The only suggestions would be to provide a bit more essentials (salt, pepper, coffee filters etc) but we’d definitely stay again!
Overall the unit was great. Adequate space for 5 adults. The kitchen did not have hot pads, a pizza cutter or scissors. There were some baking sheets, but hot pads are necessary when using the stove. I would highly recommend adding these to the unit!The toaster also had a wire sticking out the top which was a safety issue. The only other thing we noticed was a rotted soft spot on the deck in the way to the pool/hot tub. We just put a chair over that spot so nobody would step on it. If these minor things get taken care of, I would rate it 10/10! Great space, flow and starter amenities. This is also an end unit so it was nice and quiet!

The blinds upstairs in the bedrooms are for the most part broken, so you have no privacy and the sun shines through in the morning. Just small touches would be nice, take some ownership of your rental.

Nice place, great beach
The two bedroom unit offers an affordable option to Santa Rosa Beach. Short walk to the beach via Spooky Lane. We dropped off older member of the family with bad knee to reduce stress. Amazing shower water pressure. Tennis court and two pools on property. Unit does not provide some of what could be considered basic kitchen pots and pans. If you plan to cook, bring your own. Bring spatulas too... Rating reflects this lack of kitchen tools. Otherwise, would be a 5 star based on meeting its description category as a low cost "builder grade" affordable unit. We would stay here again.

Great Location at Santa Rosa
We love staying at The Legends. We have stayed in other units of this complex. This townhouse is an end unit and great location.
It is very clean and the beds are comfortable.
These units are a 2 minute walk to the beach. We love that you can be in Destin in 15 minutes and Seaside in about 10 minutes. We also drive over to Panama City in about 45 minutes.
I gave this 4 stars because there does need to be more gravel brought in at the back of the driveway so that families in larger SUVs can get into the covered driveway. Right now there is a drop off and you can't swing out enough to clear the sides of the driveway without hitting your car. We had to park outside all week. The kitchen utensils could also be updated, but we were able to make do.
Overall, I would recommend this unit.
Worth the inconveniences of residence, for the beach access
Mostly as previously reviewed, but improvements to kitchen supplies have obviously been rectified, though the problems with all but a few of the vertical binds persist. Clearly guest are unfamiliar with the correct operation of these, it must be a nightmare for owner, managers who clearly aren't repairing what you can get by with anymore. I found several broken pieces as others have said in various places and was able for privacy sake to lean them up against the glass successfully. Best if you bring an eye visor to sleep in for the master suite. I FOUND the dustpan ( it had fallen behind the dryer) and reunited it with the broom in the pantry. I was going to email the managing company about what is clearly a blocked dryer vent , extending dry times in the dryer by 150%. So be aware if staying on the heels of our stay. Also if stairs are a consideration there are 18 from the parking, and an additional 17 to the bedrooms above. Now , for the extremely positives, Location!!! Great close beach access and powerful whirlpool tub. No hassle checkin and out smooth.
We loved the place. Could use some new curtains/blinds. Master bedroom had paper towels for curtains and some of the blinds were broken. Other than that great property. We would stay there again.
Arrived to find the toilet seat in the guest bedroom broken off and on the floor of the bathroom. Called and it was replaced that day. Master bedroom had no privacy. All of the vertical blinds were damaged and missing many pieces. I can send pics if needed. Found pieces under the bed, and others in a bundle in the closet. Called about this, but understand that these are probably custom so could not repair quickly. Had to make our own curtains using paper towels and tape. Did this same process trough out other areas in the condo or fixed the blinds myself. Found another piece of vertical blind behind the chair on the first floor. Would be nice to have a broom. Nice place, but I felt that I paid too much money to have to deal with these issues.
I would have given higher marks but, when we arrived and began to set up house we immediately noticed only one of the 3 televisions worked. Soon thereafter we noticed the window coverings in the master suite were in a state of disrepair (we used blankets to cover the windows for privacy). The first morning we learned that the main pool on site was out of service. By the end of the second day the pool was back in operation. The property manager was prompt enough to make repairs to televisions but, I believe this issue and inadequate window coverings sould have been easily remedied by a thorough inspection prior to arrival of guests. For these reasons, I would choose a different property in the future.
Fantastic except for the parking. We stayed at the end and the back needs filled in. Other than that the unit was what was expected. Great location. We walked most everywhere we went. Pool area was nice.
Nasty!!!! We found old chip wrappers down in the couch! They had the door put together with a stick!
Terrible. Window was open and wouldn’t close. It smelled soooo bad. We tried to call and get refunded or whatever and no one would help us. The lady we talked to first hang the phone up on us after she was the rudest person ever.
Overall the property was ok. But there was no can opener in the kitchen and the blinds are in terrible shape. Several were broken in the master bedroom so there was no privacy at all. I probably would not stay here again.
