「After reading some reviews I was nervous opening the door to the apartment, and it was so much better than I expected. I was disappointed we were only staying one night on our way to the Algarve region. Parking was easy (free overnight, just bring euros for the meter) the neighborhood was so quiet and lovely. 「Third stage of our stay in Portugal and an excellent place to finish. Évora is just the right size to explore. The apartment is bright, roomy and airy with a great large terrace/balcony. Hugo, the owner, greeted us on arrival, showed us around and was very helpful. We were comfortable there. Small mini market and lovely friendly restaurant just round the corner. Worth a visit to nearby Arraiolos, home of famous stitched carpets.」
