Fantastic views

We really enjoyed our stay. The views from the property were fantastic and we loved exploring the village and surrounding area. Jose was a wonderful host. Whenever we contacted him he was back to us right away.

Breathtaking views

I can't say enough about the location of Castle Window. The views from the back terrace are breathtaking and you walk out the front door to a cobblestone street with lovely restaurants and shops. Jose was accessible and helpful. The house had modern conveniences while maintaining the beautiful historic aesthetic of the location. We definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful location/great property

Staying in Monsaraz was magical, and this property added to that feeling. Very spacious and clean. Jose was a great host and a fantastic communicator (in English). One tip for those staying in off/shoulder season (we were here in March) - there are very few/no food options open in Monsaraz on Mondays. This goes for the town outside the walls and at the base of the hill.

Amazing

Perfect. Large unit with great outdoor space. Our rental car broke down shortly before we were to check in, we were stranded about 9 km from the Vrbo. The host was gracious enough to come and retrieve us and get us settled into the unit. We reserved the home for 2 nights, we wished we had reserved it for a longer stay. If you are in the area, this place is great.

Wonderful castle village

Fantastic house within the kingdom walls. House was very comfortable with air conditioning and comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of sitting area inside and out. Very narrow roads within walls, so tricky driving with tourists around. Easy at night or morning. Great communication with hosts.
