My sister and I stayed at Whala Boca Chica from Dec 22 - 28 and we had the best time! Check in was simple and courteous. We arrived a couple hours early so we couldn't go to the room yet. They give you your wristbands and take your luggage to an office room that allows you to explore the resort until 3pm. Immediately we were greeted by bartenders ready to make us a drink to take to the beach. At 3, a helpful staff member showed us to our room and carried our luggage all the way there. We stayed in a double frontal sea view captain room and it was great. Very clean, cold AC and fridge, no issues. We had a balcony with a breathtaking view. Dining was good and the buffet had plenty of options at each meal. The snacks were so convenient for a late night bite. The beach was stunning. Lot of cabanas and places to sit. Once we reached the weekend, it became slightly crowded and the drinks were a little watered down, but it wasn't really a problem for us specifically. You can also order straight shots at the bar. Watet was available throughout the resort to stay hydrated. There were also fun activities and shows each day/night. Overall it was such a memorable experience and we'd love to return!
