“We stayed I n Portobay Flores in Porto superior room for 3 nights. This was definitely not up to a five stars hotel standard. Pros: 1. Breakfast staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. 2. Hotel had a perfect location right in city center Cons: 1. Receptionist was not attentive. We arrived in heavy rain and both were dripping. Receptionist was busy on phone and didn’t even offer tissue. 2. They just offered one complimentary glass bottle of water even we stayed for 3 night. We requested to……

“Overall good stay. Hotel location is very good and is about 15-minute drive to the airport. What disappointed us was nobody helped us on luggages during the check-in. While I was parking the car in the carpark nearby, my wife had to move 4 suitcases herself from lobby to the room”

“ This was a very nice hotel. The breakfast was especially good. There is a nice pool terrace with drinks available. It is on the Gaia side of the river and very close to lots of restaurants and bars. ”

“The room was big for our family of 3, we appreciated the extra space. Everything was tidy and clean, and we liked having the sink/mini-kitchen area. The area surrounding is bustling and very near to many restaurant options and a short walk across to Gaia. Although busy, from our room we were not bothered by any noise. The cleanliness around the shower could be better though (old mildew). ”

“Really fabulous property, a bit further out but so relaxing, great rooms, lovely balcony, loads of places to sit and watch the world go by. Couldn’t fault it, if they had a shuttle it would be perfect”
