"The place is beautiful, in a great location, private and secluded, with nice amenities such as hot tubs, pool, wood BBQ. It looks just like the pictures and overall, we enjoyed our stay. But, - very limited hot water. Takes long to warm up and then only lasts 5 minutes. Not enough for 2 showers. We could only fill the amazing bath up a few inches before it got cold, so kind of useless. - lots of ants, and when we complained, we were told to deal with it ourselves - there was a birds nest...

"This place was amazing! It’s right by the water, with the ferry literally at your doorstep. Waking up each morning was great, especially with the waterfront views of Faial. They have coffee available 24/7 and pastries in the morning, plus a few local shops nearby for food, delicious may I add! I stayed in the basement and it was great. The place was very clean, had a kitchen with plates and dishes, and I absolutely loved the terrace. Yes, you can hear the church bells since the place is...

"Every single staff member was warm and welcoming. The hotel is well-maintained and the room was very clean. The Japanese toilet in the room was a nice amenity, and toiletries were also available on the bathroom counter. The bed was comfortable and I like the different lighting options you can use. The pool was my favorite feature of the hotel. It's on the roof where you can also access the spa. The pool and hot tub are connected so you can easily switch from one to the other. It's a small,...

Top Sao Roque do Pico Hotel Reviews

Pico Dreams - Sportfish

10/10 Excellent

"Great location! Great staff. Safe and quiet"

Hotel do Canal

8/10 Good

"Nicely located, convenient with underground parking. The breakfast buffet was a nice and complementary pastries and water bottle in the room. Inside of hotel and room, it was a bit outdated, but still comfortable for 2 nights. Awesome shower pressure! Nice view on Pico Island from their terrace. Overall, I’d go back."

Enchanting view from the balcony of beautifully restored "Adega Baia do Canto".

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely beautiful!! Cant say enough about this magical cottage by the ocean. What a wonderful opportunity to experience the history and charm preserved in this lovely piece of heaven and at the same time having the modern conveniences to make our stay very comfortable! We watched the most gorgeous sunrises while listening to the crashing waves right from our front porch!Nancy and Carolina were very helpful and set us up with food staples to begin our stay! The cottage is in a fairly remote area. There are restaurants and a cafe/grocery store near by but a car is highly recommended if you wish to explore the island! There is so much to see!"
