1)Fully Paid for breakfast for 2 days .Travelling with a small child. On the 1st morning had breakfast , spoken to staff and kitchen staff that due to having to catch early 5 1/2 hr JR train 7:21 am to Ashibiri the next morning, wont be able to have breakfast ( 7 am - ? 9: 30 am ) so ask if can help pack a simple take-away ( Western eg very simple 2 pieces of bread with egg/jam etc) They refused saying " CANNOT " , never even offered to make a refund to me for the breakfast ( for two !) .
2) on checkin date , i noticed a Japanese man with a tired sleeping child ( girl ) on the lounge sofa , he has been waiting to check in . It was already about 2: 30 pm when I arrived. After seeing this , and the staff saying I have to wait till 3 pm before I can check in , I decide to left luggage and come back in the evening. They were not kind even to their own nationality , I dont expect them to be any better to foreigners ( me being Singaporean ). They did not live up to the motto of the APA brand.very family unfriendly.
