Great vacation!

Loved this location! Close to lots of sights, but, quiet at night! Everything was clean and inviting. Back yard was your own little Oasis. Geoffrey was fantastic and I got to meet Duke! Will be back for sure!!

My stay at Fisherman Cottage

Overall nice property with the outside overlooking the small waterway very nice . Plenty of outside seating with a nice small pavilion as well!! Geoff , the owner , was very friendly and accessible. He came by from time to time to check on us and see if we needed anything .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quiet cottage located so close to downtown and within short driving distance to the many amenities of the area. We especially loved the backyard space and would love to visit this area and stay again!

Beautiful place!

This place is amazing for a relaxing getaway! The backyard is stunning and great place to sit and have cup of coffee in the morning. The property is also short distance from amazing restaurants that the host recommended. Definitely would come here again!

Lovely vacation spot

The inside was well maintained. The host was very helpful and checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. It was centrally located. We really enjoyed our time and would go back.

A hidden gem, close to everything

From booking to check out our experience was five stars. The location is great! So quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious. Everything you could want or need was provided. Mike is a great host and very responsive. His place was exceptionally clean and well equipped with everything you would need to have a great stay! The back yard is lovely with beautiful vegetation and landscaping. There are many areas to sit in both sun and shade. Mike’s recommendations of restaurants and things to do were excellent! Girls trip!

Property is perfect. Clean and the perfect amount of space for the 5 of us!! Geoff is great very responsive - awesome food recommendations. We did mangrove tour, walking food tour and siesta key sunset electric bike tour. All highly recommend!! Weather was beautiful-we will be back for sure!

Perfect Oasis

The home was clean. Comfortable, inviting decor. The home is equipped with everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing stay. The Back Yard is AMAZING. Such a peaceful space to bring a book, play your music (quietly it is a neighborhood) and just enjoy the FL sun or shade, the back yard provides both. The host was wonderful. Fishing Cottage!

My wife and I took our first real vacation post covid. We stayed five wonderful days in this adorable little converted cottage. It's 100% updated, super clean and central to everything including a beautiful one and a half mile walk to downtown. The neighborhood is incredibly quiet in the back of the property borders a fishing stream. It's a little slice of heaven and highly recommended!

Comfy, Cozy Cottage

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings of nature. A hidden gem so close to all the amenities Sarasota has to offer. The cottage was pristine clean, so inviting and had everything we needed for our 4-day stay. The backyard is a sanctuary with the bayou, the large deck, pretty landscape and fire pit. Geoffrey and his fiance, Elissa were gracious hosts and we will keep in touch the next time we are in the area. A truly great experience! Loved IT!!!!!

Nice stay in Sarasota

We enjoyed our time in Sarasota, and in this property. The house is spotlessly clean, and there is so much space to spread out and hangout. The kitchen is well stocked, and the BBQ was great for the nights we cooked at home. We enjoyed our coffee in the backyard in the mornings and watched the squirrels and listened to the birds, once the new landscaping grows up it will be a little oasis. Geoff was very easy to communicate with before and during our stay - he knows all of the local places to hang out for music or eats and he's happy to share the details (Owen's Fish Camp was our favourite). Geoff very much cares about this property, and it shows.

Beyond our expectation - Well Done, we will be back!

The photos don't justify the experience. We would wake up in the morning sitting on the back porch and be listening to nature. You do not feel like you are a mile from downtown Sarasota, but you are. Very clean and they had great internet. We were doing some work out back and had Fios speed. Coronavirus clean... even the remote controls were in clear disposable bags.. Much appreciated! The owner and his wife were terrific, and we feel we have new friends in Sarasota. Thanks, Geoffrey and Elissa! We will be back! Tyler & Kim
