Welcome to a truly wonderful, unique property located above Playas Del Coco and only 20 minutes from the airport. The home, inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s house in Key West, is a quick three-minute drive to Coco Beach where you’ll find all the fun and activities you could want from a tourist hot spot. Playa Hermosa beach is a short five-minutes away, with a calmer, laid-back, vibe than Coco, but with plenty of good restaurants ,bars and breathtaking sunsets.
After walking into the expansive entry, you’ll find four bedrooms, each with their own full bath and equipped with A/C for a wonderful, comfortable sleep. The master is huge with a nice king, two others have two twins which can be put together for couples, and the fourth has a nice double bed. Head down to the pool where you’ll find a completely private jungle environment. In addition to the pool, you’ll find a shaded sitting area with a dart board and corn hole. Up the stairs to the huge great room (two A/C’s keep it cool on those hot Costa Rican days), where you’ll find the kitchen, dining room, living room, washer/dryer, and a half bath There’s even an homage to Hemingway with a deep-sea fishing chair The great room has a wrap-around deck where you can lounge in the morning with your coffee watching the sunrise or have an evening cocktail while watching the sunset. Once the sun is gone it’s time to head up to the observation deck where, enjoying a nice breeze on a clear night watching the cosmos and hoping for some shooting stars, is a perfect end to the day.

Other things to note
Coco Beach where you’ll find all the fun and activities you could want from a tourist hot spot. But, if you’re more laid back, not wanting all the hustle and bustle, Playa Hermosa is a short five-minute ride with a quieter, laid back vibe. So, if sports bars, tourist shops, beach bars, tons of restaurants offering all sorts of authentic cuisines (Mexican, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, BBQ, seafood and even some Costa Rican), a roll your own cigar place, a casino, tap rooms offering craft beer selections (The Tap Room at the Pacifico is always a sure bet), dive centers, ATV and golf cart rentals, and a heck of a lot of other fun stuff, Coco is the place. But, if you want a more chill beach, also with good restaurants and bars to enjoy, Hermosa is where it’s at. You have to have your pic taken on the huge giant swing at the AquaSport Restaurant, enjoy the yellow fin tuna with chili sauce at Roberto’s (yum) or enjoy the chicken cordon bleu at La Casita Del Marisco (double yum). For an evening of fine dining (outdoor Costa Rican style), Ginger is just up the road from the beach (small plates prepared by a Cordon Bleu chef).
