Playa Ocotal and Playas del Coco are a small fishing village turned perfect tourist destination in the last decade. While not a surfing destination itself, the lagoon type beach makes it an ideal spot for enjoying the calm waters and the horseshoe shaped beach that is dotted with small bars and restaurants. There is a single main road through town complete with a variety of dining areas and quite a lively music and bar seen in the evening. This location is approximately a 45 minutes drive from the Liberia Airport.

Though tucked into the hillside, you’re only minutes from Playa Ocotal’s calm beach, local restaurants and the conveniences of Playas del Coco.
