Our 3rd visit to The Hummingbird! Always clean and pleasant. The location is perfect- a short walk into downtown Saugatuck, and only 10 minute drive to the beach. We’ll be back!

Perfect location! The setup of the space worked well for us and it’s exactly as listed. The biggest perk is the location! I think we would’ve missed some amenities of other rentals (dishwasher, hot tub, etc.) if we stayed any longer but for a quick 2-night stay with lots of plans it was the absolute perfect place!

We absolutely loved the cottage that we got to stay in during our first trip to Saugatuck! The best feature was its location relative to downtown. Everything was in walking distance and the short drive to Oval Beach was so convenient for us. The cottage was clean and provided us everything that we needed. We will bookmark this place for the next time we visit Saugatuck :)

We came to Saugatuck for our first wedding anniversary and had a wonderful trip - the cottage was clean, well-stocked and comfortable. A 5 minute walk to everything we needed, plus great weather made for a perfect time!

Cozy couples stay!

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird! Incredible location. 5-7 min walk from all the action. It was our first time in saugatuck and we couldn’t have loved it more and were able to fully enjoy it thanks to this perfectly located spot. It was very clean, looked exactly like the pictures. It was stocked with plenty of dishes/towels etc for a couple. We can’t wait to come back!

Cute cabin close to downtown

Hummingbird is a very cute little cabin. Easy to walk to downtown from where it’s located, and the property itself was clean and tidy. The check-in process was extremely automated and painless with lots of communication delivered ahead of our stay.

I needed a place to stay for 3 weeks in January. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they employed a plow service for the parking lot. The house was cozy, very clean

Perfect location. We were able to either ride her bikes or walk downtown Saugatuck every day which is wonderful since parking is such a challenge there. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect little cottage for a weekend getaway to one of my favorite towns. Loved that it was such a short walk to the downtown area to visit all the great shops and get some good food. The cottage was so clean, comfy and welcoming. The kitchen was set up quite well for cooking - everything you’d need was there. I will definitely hope to stay here again!

Wonderful long weekend stay at The Hummingbird for our wedding anniversary; the perfect nest with ample space and stocked with everything we needed after a long day of exploring. Park your car and walk or bike to your hearts content! The location can’t be beat! Thanks for a fantastic first trip to Saugatuck! We will be back and would stay here again.

Saugatuck stay

We love the location and the layout of this property. We wish we were granted access to the hot tub and that there was a full length mirror or "getting ready" area upstairs, as having two females in the house can be lengthy get ready process. Otherwise, we love the house and will stay again. This was our second stay here.

Hummingbird is 5 stars

The property has easy checkin and checkout. It is the cutest, cleanest rental I have stayed in lately. All amenities were easy to find. Hummingbird is the perfect size for 1 or 2 people and the location is fantastic. Parking right outside your door. Can't beat it. I would definitely stay at Hummingbird again.

Quaint little cottage within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Clean and welcoming atmosphere. Would consider a return. Somewhat disappointed that listing showed hot tub as an amenity but was not the case according to paperwork on arrival.

Very pleasant!

The Hummingbird is a nice size for a couple--compact but not too cramped. The place is nicely maintained, with all essential amenities and appointments, and easy walking distance from downtown Saugatuk. It does share a wall with a neighboring cottage, so people staying there can be heard. But the only thing we would suggest improvements-wise would be to put a proper door between the bedroom and living room area upstairs. Otherwise, a charming little place. Thanks!

winter weekend

We really liked the location of this rental, and found it to be clean and comfortable and the use of the space was quite creative. There are lots of things to do in and around Saugatuck. The rule book told us that we needed to be considerate and quiet due to neighbors but our neighbors did not follow these rules. The walls were thin and it was unpleasant to feel like they were in our space, particularly when they were repeatedly farting. Also, we were told to park on one side of the building, but there were no available spaces. Nonetheless, the bed was quite comfortable. We might stay here again because we liked being able to walk into town, but the noise was not appealing.
