Girls trip to SBF

Eight friends visited to attend the book festival. The location was a bit farther out from the festival than we would have liked but the house worked very well for our group. Nice sized bedrooms and well furnished. House was super clean with adequate linens provided. We did enjoy being close to the grocery store!

Lovely Historic House

Overall we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the beautiful house. We had a couple small issues come up during our stay-a shower curtain fell down, Refrigerator/ice maker leaked but the issues did not affect our trip at all. Southern Belle was very prompt on answering any questions we sent their way. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Great location and beautiful historic home

This was the perfect spot to be able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Savannah. The home was also beautiful. The only surprise for us was all of the stairs. We had some members of our family that found it hard to go up and down all the stairs but there was an elevator to help us move our luggage but it isn't something we felt comfortable using all of the time.

Lots of room!

Beautiful home and very clean. Sleeps 12 well will need air mattresses for more than 12. The home is large enough for 3 queen air mattresses and a couple singles if needed. The only negatives that I have to say is the lighting in the 1st floor bathroom was poor and the location. We were too far from downtown so we had to Uber every time we left the house. Lots of homeless people near the house; the liquor store next door didn’t help the situation. Overall, beautiful home and accommodates a large group.

First of all, I must say, the home itself was beautiful. That being said, we experienced many problems. Prior to our arrival, I received a message that they had a plumbing issue that should be resolved by the time we got there. We arrived and the plumber was just preparing to leave. Meanwhile, my mother, who has heart problems and COPD as a result of covid, could not climb the stairs to get up to the second (main) floor. We were supposed to have elevator access but it was locked. I was messaging the host (or the company they have acting on their behalf) to try to get access to the elevator when someone else from the same company called me to see if I could look for a firearm that the previous guests had left behind. I looked, but it wasn’t there. Almost immediately after that, the property manager showed up and had to come in to check for the firearm. While she was there, she was able to unlock the elevator door so that my parents could get upstairs. She said it should have already been unlocked for us. At the same time, another message came in from the host telling us that the plumber would have to return between 8-10 the following morning because he hadn’t rectified the problem with the leaking shower.t

Great property Great location

This property is in a great location. Close enough to walk to all the sites. The property has an elevator which really came in handy since this is a 4 story building. The property itself had plenty of space for our group. The bedrooms are all large and comfortable. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay here again.

Thanksgiving with family

We had 12 of us. Rented the entire estate including apartment which is the best space for my mom (85) and brother/wife with their two little dogs. On the main floor so easy access. The only thing that saved us for bringing in luggage and older family members was the elevator! Nice touch. Space was clean. Plenty of rooms/beds/bathrooms! Could use a kitchen towel or two plus guest bathroom towel. Pictures show a grill and a fire pit we planned to use but found out few days before that we couldn’t use and was removed actually from yard. Could use better/updated furniture out there. No outdoor space to gather basically. We had a great time though. Nice walk to restaurants and the coffee shop right around corner bonus. Your communication is through southern belle rentals and felt a little side barred trying to get information about the place through them. Info says parking for 3 cars. Was told two days before only 2. Anyone else has to pay to park out front.

Savannah Christmas 2020

The property was clean and pet friendly. If you like the charm of a true southern older home this will be perfect. There are quite a few stairs but also an elevator. Spacious and the location was amazing. I would definitely recommend this property.
