Great location!

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Great location! The only complaint was the backyard/deck. Based on the website pics it was one of the biggest draws of the home. Shows multiple couches/patio seating. But instead it was an old table with 5 worn out chairs.

Great Sisters' Weekend

House was perfect size for 7 of us. It was clean and comfortable. Furniture advertised on the back porch is not correct but there was a table and some chairs (no couches). Quiet, safe neighbor and great walkability to most everything you want to see, even the river if you don't mind a walk.

Spacious and great location

This was the perfect spot for our friends reunion in late May. The neighborhood is gorgeous and it's a long walk/short car ride from some really nice spots in Savannah. Most of the beds were comfortable with the exception of a couple of the twins in the loft. The house was well air conditioned and there is a separate temperature control on each floor. The backyard area was peaceful for drinking coffee in the morning before the heat made being inside more relaxing.

Great historic house

We spent a long weekend at the property for an overdue boys trip. The house fit 6 of us easily. The backyard was great (a little buggy so don’t forget the bug spray) so we spent a lot of time out there playing games. Would recommend!

Ladies Trip

Great location. Very comfortable house. 4 work friends hanging out for the weekend and we each got our own room so no one had to listen to others snoring! Would recommend!

Great Location

Needs some TLC on the exterior but the nice had all the charm! Beds were SO comfortable. I don’t know if I misread but I was expecting two more twin beds but we made due with the larger beds. The room with the queen must have a visitor because they would turn on the light during the night. Even with all that we would stay again. Nothing that we wanted to do or see was more than 0.5 miles! We did a lot, too.

Lacking the small but essential things

Overall the property is great, however, we had one trash bag to use for the week and the pillows on the bed were small and very lumpy. I'd recommend bringing your own pillows and loading up on supplies like paper towels, decent toilet paper, etc. once you get to town.

Great Location

2 blocks to closest square, less than 10 min walk to river st and many restaurants. The location was worth it. Did not bother us but thought others would want to know there were rolling a/c units taped to the windows and it was warm upstairs. The home was clean but it is an old home, with some old house needs and is not the house if you are looking for a luxury experience. Otherwise, the seating was comfy in LR and bedrooms were roomy, good pillows and crisp linens.

Bachelorette weekend

Bachelorette weekend for 8 ladies. Small problem getting in with the door code but was quickly fixed with a phone call. AC problem first night during a hot July weekend but again, a quick call and they brought a portable a AC unit for the night and sent someone the next day who fixed the problem. Slightly annoyed that the kitchen did not have any potholders or a pasta strainer. These should be staple items. Kitchen is minimally supplied. They also need to supply more than one garbage bag for 8 people staying 4 nights! The parking was convenient but the grass was very high! Got caught in the car door when we closed it. It definitely needs some cosmetic repairs and some upgrades but suited our needs. The biggest thing to note is that other reviews say it's within walking distance of everything. It's important to note that it is about a mile one way to the main attractions on River St. And about another mile the other way to the iconic squares and shopping. Just be prepared to walk a minimum of 5 miles per day to do what you need to do. We ended up using Uber at the end of the 2nd day and most of day 3 and 4. It's really not centrally located. It's more like an outer corner of a square the best thing I can say is that they were attentive when we needed assistance.

Not What We Expected (And Not In A Good Way)

While we definitely enjoyed our time in Savannah, this property was not a highlight, and I didn't feel it was worth the price paid. For additional context about myself as a reviewer, my family and I have stayed at seven other properties booked through Vrbo and others over the past few years and we have enjoyed every one of them with no complaints, so we don't consider ourselves particularly high maintenance. First, I'll start with the good: - The space of the home was great for a large family. We had plenty of room to eat & spend time together - Functionally, the home met all of our needs Alas, the not so good: - Property was well staged in photos, but did not match the current decor, featuring many fewer "pops" of color than promised in the description - The exterior facade is showing green mold and needs powerwashed, which may be problematic since much of the exterior trim is showing signs of rot and may not survive a powerwashing. This was made even more apparent by the level of care shown to the exteriors of the other properties on the block; this home probably falls into the "eyesore" category - Roof looks overdue for replacement, and there are signs of leakage in the upstairs ceiling which have been covered - A nailhead protruded slightly from the floor next to fireplace, which we stepped on repeatedly. It would have been less of an issue as it's in the main walkway from the bedrooms to the living room / kitchen. - Laundry closet door needs re-adjusted and won't close completely, and came off the tracks - Dryer handle was broken off and needed to be finagled open to use it - Back deck seating area had no pillows as shown in the photos, not a big deal since the space hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival and wasn't inviting - It's the south, so bugs are expected. However, finding a dead Palmetto bug in the master bed pillows was not a highlight; the live one running around the kitchen even less so. There were some other bugs flying around in the kitchen area, and more appeared in the bathrooms after showers were used - The main floor bedrooms were warm at night, bordering on uncomfortable (the ceiling fans made them tolerable). From what I recall, the thermostat read 77 in the house, and no amount of adjustment was able to cool the house further. Fortunately, the upstairs bedroom window A/C units kept those rooms comfortable at night. Overall, while there were some nice things about this house, I do not recommend it for the price.

Bridal hide out

Though the house was a historic home it was very quaint and spacious. Loved the old floors and the double sided fireplace. We were given the essentials such as soaps shampoo dish detergent so we didn't have to rush to buy anything. Close proximity to downtown historic savannah. Overall everyone really enjoyed the stay at the house

Savannah stay after family Cruise canceled

We were very happy to fit 10 adult family members in one rental for a long weekend to replace a cruise that was canceled. The location was safe and quiet. Parking was easy and the house while showing its age was clean and adequate for our needs. The coffee maker did not work and promptly the management brought a brand new coffee maker to replace the broken one.

Beautiful area

My family and I loved the home. So many bathrooms and rooms to sleep. The home was in walking distance for downtown which was a plus no driving. We would definitely stay there again.

Good but not Great

First pulled up girlfriend was like o hell no not staying here. She wanted to go get a hotel downtown and just say screw the property. I talked her in to walking inside to view the property and once we were inside she had a change of mind. Property was very clean but had an older home kinda smell to it no television in the rooms 1 tv for the whole house very spacious for a group of 12 of us 20 minutes to the beach 5 minutes to river st. Overall good need more TVs and some beach equipment👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

It is What it Is.

I will start with the positive the location is great. What it lacks is Charm, True Comfort and a feeling of really enjoying your stay in a home. It is managed by a rental group Lucky Savannah that spent most of the time dealing with our complaints (cracked shelf in drawer, lukewarm water, broken faucet, wobbly fan that looked like a hazard, no coffee filters, no clothing detergent, no tv info and only four channels I mean who only provides four channels!! an unsleepable bed upstairs, cheap window shades that can't be opened. toilets running JUST TO NAME A FEW and not one thing to Welcome us to our STAY. Lucky Savannah skimmed our complaints by putting the blame on the home owner and owner obviously thinks as long as they just have a house to provide without any warmth or fixing anything, all is okay. Does it really take that much to make it better. So bottom line fine for two days but no charm and thank goodness Savannah provides lots of good vibes. It is what it is.
