After I booked on Expedia… The girl wanted 20 more dollars to give me a requested upstairs room… in the room there was no desk chair for the desk… There was no trashcan… The remote for the TV was so filthyI had to have washcloth to touch it…. and once I touched it… It did not work so I had to call the front desk and the girl brought up a new one…..stray cats hang out here … the best part was right next-door. There was a sports bar and a Thai restaurant… But I would not recommend the Thai restaurant… Although the wings at the sports bar were great.

The Cheap Alternative

The Relax Inn is a down-market, low budget motel with minimal amenities. Pros: very cheap, decent bed, OK Wi-Fi, running water, hot water, clean, mini fridge and microwave, good parking. Cons: No style, dowdy appearance, no hair dryer in room, mediocre lighting.

When I arrive at Relax Inn, it is about 11:00 PM in the evening, after a long flight. The check-in place is a very tiny cube that fits only one person at a time. It feels very strange/scary compared to all other hotel/motel that I have been. When I check in, the staff told me, they cancelled my booking because I did not pre-pay. However, they do have rooms, but I have to pay $280 at that time while my booking was $196 for 2 nights. After half an hour of argue, the price go from 280 to 240 to 220 finally to 196. The only reason that I got 196 is the staff don't want Expedia to call them for the whole night. And she threatened me if I contact Expedia that night, she won't let me check in (actually I dont understand what is the point she was saying that and kept me in that tiny box like a prisoner for half an hour, anyway if I am refused checked in, or if I am asked to pay higher price, for sure I contact Expedia.) Besides all of that check-in issue, the quality of the place does not deserve the price I paid. Probably it is due to the high-demand for that particular weekend.

Don't do it

Horrible service from a horrible motel. Very old and outdated, shabby, squeaky bed, worthless mattresses. They gave away my reserved king room, charged me, and then saved a double for me, then charged me for new room and asked if it was ok ...as if I had a choice after traveling all day! Now haha wait for credit from double charging. Room clearly has a no smoking sign, but need Ike an old ashtray.. . And there was even an ashtray IN THE NO SMOKING ROOM!!!!!! What kind of nonsense is that?? No one should ever book here. Wanted to add photos but site won't let me
