  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Beautiful home! We were in town visiting family so we did not spend much time in residence, but it was very comfortable, clean and convenient! Will definitely look this host up in the future!

We were able to park on the street in front of the unit. The drive to River Street is more like seven to ten minutes but definitely not three minutes. The neighborhood was quiet for the most part. The upstairs shower/tub combo is high and the water drained slowly. While I showered, I stood in water. It was a bit unsettling for me. The window treatments were nice but didn’t block the sun since there were no blinds and the curtains were white.

Very Cute Townhouse

Loved the decorations and interior of the house, super cute. Had a lot of fun in Savannah, was there for my birthday. We did walk to the downtown river street area once or twice, but it is a bit of a walk from the house. We drove or Ubered most the time. Forsyth park is close, within walking distance, and so is a grocery store. You can hear some street noise, but that’s to be expected. Did not bother us, we would stay there again.
