“The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.”

“We spent the night before our friends' wedding. The red tiny house had all we needed; bed, shower, coffee maker, and a hot tub. After the twisty ride from the Chattanooga area, the hot tub was a godsend. The gravel driveway was packed down enough for the motorcycle. It's a nice location for both Clayton and Helen. We will come back.”

“The house was just as in the pictures. Being able to use the garage was paramount because we were on motorcycles and we had some storms during our stay. The real star of the show was our host. The communication was outstanding with quick answers to any questions, thoughtful messages prior to our stay, and following up to ensure there were no issues. ”

Driveway is steep and may be intimidating to most. Parking area at house is good. We parked at house every night. ”
