Wonderful host and a brilliant b&b. Breakfast was yummy and the bedroom was clean and comfy. Our only negative would be there are no hooks in the bathroom to hang bath towels and no little shelf to put shower gel on whilst showering. Minor things.

We spent 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Upon arrival we were greeted by Tina, who was warm and welcoming and attentive during our stay. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and our room was immaculate, with well stocked hot drink making facilities and functional furniture. Apart from the inevitable seagulls it was very quiet. Breakfast was tasty and definitely set us up for the day! You order the day before and there is plenty to choose from. The hotel is around a 20 minute walk from the beach and other amenities but it is very scenic and the cliff lift is useful for a quick descent/ascent! We definitely feel Powys Lodge is good value for money and would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone else looking for somewhere to stay in Scarborough.
