「We loved our stay at Ashburton. Beautifully decorated room, with attention to detail, thoughtful hosts who were so lovely, and a fabulous location. Small, and quiet, just as we like it. Appreciated the parking outside the door too! Thoroughly recommended. 」

「Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. 」

「The room was clean and spacious. Thick curtains cut out any street lighting which was good. It was quiet but sadly no meals were being served in the pub till Thursday. Breakfast was excellent. Nicely presented. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. There are plenty of eateries all within walking distance.」

You can't get breakfast at The Maynard but their sister hotel on the corner was just minutes away, and you got a discount for being guests at The Maynard. Staff/Service excellent. The only thing i would say is my friend was unable to take a bath or shower as there was not a slip mat to assist in their safety.」

「I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they...

「I stayed with my dog and found the accommodation really good. Although my room could of done with a slight upate it was clean and spacious. I had a beautiful veiw of the coastline. The staff helpful and location was perfect. I will return next year to repeat my stay. 」
