“The staff were incredibly kind and assisted me with the local bus and train timings, even flagging that bus fare is cash-only and they broke my large bill. Top notch service from everyone that I interacted with at the hotel. It was very humid and although there is no a/c, my room had a fan. The bed was very comfortable and it was one of the most spacious rooms I stayed in Scotland. The bathroom was extremely clean. The pub is great and has live musicians playing traditional music. “It’s impossible to criticize Dromoland Castle and its superior staff! We celebrated our 50th- wedding anniversary here on the exact date of our marriage 50 years ago, when we also stayed here for part of our honeymoon. This nostalgic trip was met with such gracious treatment. The front gate greeted and congratulated us; the check-in staff in the lobby did the same.
