“Upon our arrival at the hotel's front desk, we were utterly dismayed by the complete lack of a warm welcome. The room they assigned us was inconveniently located on the first floor, facing a noisy street. Despite our very real concerns about potential traffic noise disrupting our sleep, we were dismissively assured that nighttime traffic was not an issue. “Check-in time was limited 3pn to 6pm. Delays on Le shuttle meant we wouldn't arrive until nearly 7pm. We messaged the hotel. This was not a problem for them. On arrival we checked in and obtained our room. Very spacious and comfortable. We went down for dinner and found a table on the terrace. Everything was amazing from service to food. The head waiter was chatty and engaging. Great service. Very impressed.”

“10 out of 10 experience. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station and a few blocks away from the old town. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is well-kept and stylish. Great staff at the front desk as well as the lounge bar area. Rooms are well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Would have loved to have a kettle in the room for a cup of tea, but you can get hot water at the lobby lounge easily. Highly recommended. ”
