“This cottage was everything the listing said and so much more. This was our first time to the area and our favorite thing about the entire trip was the cottage. Beautifully renovated, it had everything. We got a lot of rain and enjoyed sitting on the peaceful porch listening to the rain and the birds overlooking the creek. On Saturday the sun came out and the kids were able to fish, kayak, and roast marshmallows around the large fire pit. Inside, the cottage was full of entertainment. Arcade……

“We had a small family reunion at Lazarus Point. The families came from north and south and met here. There was plenty of room for all of us. Awesome bedrooms and bathrooms. There was plenty of necessities to use in the home , which was very helpful since the stores are quite a distance away. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, crabbing, boating, use of the hot tub, bird watching and relaxing all around the greats decks, dock and yard. Thank you for helping us enjoy a fun family vacation!”

“Family and friends gathered to meet the newest member of our family. The home is gorgeous and very clean. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and spent many hours catching up around the table. The little ones liked going up to the pirates watch to look out. Adults played the arcade games. Everyone enjoyed the pool to swim at any time of day or night. We had warm weather to swim and sit on the beach. At many times the river water was like glass, adding to a relaxed atmosphere. You should wear water……

“Our second stay at this property and we enjoyed ourselves as much as the first time. House is very well appointed, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen and nice furniture. We utilized the dock, fire pit and screened in porch every day of our stay. Good local restaurants, quick drive to wineries, breweries and other local attractions. We love The Roberts Rivah house.”

She came across from her home to help us in, gave us a tour and was so welcoming. She had left us water and snacks in the frig as well as a welcome basket on the counter with a card. “Situated on a point with water on two sides of the expansive property, the setting was amazing. The house is a mid-century ranch that has been thoroughly updated. We had lousy weather, so we did not get to enjoy the large water-side deck and firepit, but even the indoor views of the water from the kitchen-den area were wonderful.”
