"Entire staff was very friendly. young blonde at Reception was extremely nice as well as night auditor who assisted us with cab and found my wife's phone and called the cabbie before we had gone to far. Breakfast was well maintained and bountiful. Bathroom was a bit cramped but it might have been the room we were assigned 520. Staff friendlyness was key to this stay."

"The room was excellent for a single person room. The elevator was not working. I was on the 3rd floor but opted to stay even though they offered to switch rooms to the 1st floor the next day. Old hotel with Character..would stay again."

Coylumbridge Resort Hotel

"We had 4 rooms and 3 generations of family staying for one night for our son's 30th birthday. The rooms windows did not open despite signs saying they did, and some of our party were uncomfortably warm overnight. There was one person on reception for check in. We were fortunate, only waiting 15 minutes, but at a time when there was a wedding and also a function on, as well as dozens checking in it seemed strange not to have more personnel manning the desk. The residents bar closed at 10.30pm and my daughter had to go to the function bar to get a round of drinks in, one German guest who had gone outside for a cigarette didn't make it back in time for a whisky, which he'd been looking forward to. Having said that the breakfast staff were wonderful and the breakfast buffet was very comprehensive, the hotel is just outside Aviemore and has plenty for kids to do (we had 4 aged 5 and under), but the pool had been closed the day we arrived. All and all we are unlikely to be back as apparently the heat in the bedrooms is a common complaint and nobody could explain why the bar closed that early."

"Clean modern lovely decorated, great snacks- only issue is the bathroom and room was rather compact, especially bathroom. Does not stop me staying agin if I had to."
