「AVOID AT ALL COST; The room is generally clean and spacious and well equipped, however the lack of table is rather inconvenient, and it is very noisy with street traffic and pedestrians even on weekday nights, and seagulls are super noisy during dawn. Also weird that the upper part of the toilet window cannot be closed. I was "fortunate" enough to be in town and staying at this hotel while load shedding (i.e. adhoc power outage) happened and the staff didn't bother to inform this to myself...

「What I liked. Very convienent location. Room was beautiful. They gave me an extra duvet which was nice. There was a very nice guard at night who would see us to our car and make sure we were ok. The beds were comfortable the water was hot . room was gently heated not over heated. It is on High Level rd which can get busy in the day but it didnt bother us at all. Lighting was a bit dim but we were ok. Would definitely come back.」

「Moved to this hotel when we checked out early from a different hotel that was horrible. This hotel was great. Decor is a cool retro vibe. Room is very nice with a very comfortable bed. On the water, but still reasonably close to the CBD in a very nice neighbourhood with lots of dining options. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.」

「We booked at The Winchester last minute because of canceled flights and we were thrilled we did. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was amazing. The location in Sea Point was great. Lots of walking and decent access to restaurants and shopping. We took in the sunset every night at the hotel bar, which had wonderful food and great cocktails. We will certainly consider staying here again.」

「Lovely hotel! Perfect location in cape town, super convenient with a market and coffee shop on the first level, clean and cozy rooms. Didn't interact with the staff much but they were lovely when we did. 」

「Liked most. Deidra and her team were very personable and nice. They took time to make my stay enjoyable. Alec dropped me off at some places I needed to go. The bedroom was great and the bed very comfortable. Nice residential area. 」
