“PAT OUR WAITRESS was the best.!!!!! The food is great!!!! ,WILLIAM he was in charge for cleaning the room #541 was excellent too. Everything was good except, the coffee in the lobby is no free ,the cost is 2 dollars. Is my first time I see this.”

“Rooms and property has been updated. Room was clean, spacious with kitchenette. Wonderful stay!”

“We had a pleasant stay. Our room had 2 beds and a sitting area with a full balcony. Continental breakfast had a lot of choices and snacks were always out. I would stay there again.”

“It was very interesting. It’s a big house with different rooms. We all share the kitchen, living room, laundry room, pool and deck area. Overall it was pretty good. One thing that did irritated go get it brought our dog and all you can hear is another dog barking 85% of the time.!”

“Our stay was pleasant although I wondered how often they rotate the beds since the mattress seemed uncomfortable for my husband and I. The lady front desk said they do.”

“It was an older property that they are doing some updating. The heater didn’t work in our unit so they provided a portable heater. It was noisy outside our unit so it was difficult to sleep in,in the morning. They had painted the mop boards and there were paint spills on the floor. Breakfast was good.”

“My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at The Tranquil House Inn in Manteo while we explored the Outer Banks. The rooms and service were great, and the location right on the water in downtown Manteo was perfect. Manteo has a charming downtown that offers plenty of shops and attractions without feeling too touristy. We also really enjoyed the light breakfast offerings each morning and the staff were so friendly and helpful.”

“Our stay would have been better if not for the constant noise of hot-rods running up and down the highway well into the night. I guess our timing was bad since this happens annually in early May. There was also a very loud tenant above us that revelled in stomping until 11 at night. The restaurant was great for dinner with excellent food and drinks. Breakfast was over-priced and un-noteworthy. The beach, pool and hot-tub were all nice and private.”

“Like nearly everyone else, we are not crazy about the kiosk check in and check out. Occasionally, a word will be garbled in transmission and the person at the other end will be oblivious to the communication problem. They don't respond to questions very well, or respond inappropriately. ”
