“Really enjoyed our stay. Being on the 3rd floor is the only draw back I find here. We have been staying here for several years, so it's nothing new and it is noted on the description, but each year it seems that I choose to take less and less to the room because I don't want to tote it. “I have never been to HHI before and was quite nervous. We had a fantastic stay! When i booked, I didnt realize that the sound wasn't a swimming beach, but thats on me. There are very nice beaches close by and so many things to do on the island! My communication with the property manager was prompt and always helpful! “The sound was a very short walk from our rental. There wasn't a swimming beach on site which I knew already (there are pools on site which can be nice on rainy days). The sound was, however, very beautiful and teeming with wildlife. Every shell had a crab living in it. There were more gorgeous birds and fiddler crabs than I'd ever seen before. We spent the days at the public beaches (each were only about a 10 minute drive from the rental), then after showering and dinner, my kids loved walking……

“We had an excellent time here. The house was perfect for the three generations of our family. Our grandchildren enjoyed the games and toys, and the youngest toddler had plenty of room to safely roam about the living room. We enjoyed the covered screen porch with the ocean breeze where we read and played board games, or just talked while relaxing in the rocking chairs. The close proximity of the beach was a real hit with everyone. A short walk to enjoy the waves and sand was delightful. Loved……
