“Lovey stay here, everything clean but had a couple of things that needs a quick update. For example our t.v kept glitches and only a few channels were watchable. Staff were all fantastic. Breakfast was ok but could do with fresh pastries rather than packaged. Ate at the hotels restaurant for evening meal and that was outstanding. Huge size, good hearty meals. Overall a good stay and would recommend.”

“Just stayed here last week very easy to find plenty parking. Check in straight forward the young man very friendly. Some minor faults with rooms. We had 2 rooms . Both kettles in rooms had bad limescale so never used them .the teabags looked like they had just been thrown in a pile on the dresser Bathroom towel instead of being white had a massive blue stain on .bed sheet was dirty. .you could hear the traffic outside but to be expected as on main road. I think for value for money……

“I loved the room every thing we needed, if we stayed longer we would of made more of the kitchen. At least if we stayed again we know what to take, it was a mini apartment with a well equipped kitchen .It has good staff and parking on site lovely breakfast.”

“We were warmly welcomed like old friends by the wonderful owners, Jackie & John. We had high expectations given the positive reviews, & we were not disappointed. John gave us an overview of the history of the house which was a lovely touch. They are rightly proud of their beautiful property, which exudes class, quality & great attention to detail. The room was spacious with clean lines & classic decor, the most comfortable bed with sumptuous linens & a spacious en suite, again with quality……

“Rooms and outside facilities need updating and decorating. Outside tables and patio needs regular cleaning and sweeping. But Ben and all his staff were helpful, attentive and friendly.”

“Parking was limited we were lucky as there was hardly anyone else staying- this is a B&B Not a hotel and is a bit down at heel hasn’t had any investment for a while - but nice family/staff good breakfast - overpriced I’m afraid”
