"The location of the apartment is on an island. When I was there nothing was going on on the island a lot of places were closed. My check in process did not go smoothly. The host Sandra is nice, the apartment is cute, cozy and clean and Apt. 1 has a partial ocean view. There are cats outdoors and Sandra’s dogs Cesar and Luna are adorable. There was an issue with the internet but Sandra’s son had it fixed in an hour. Also the shower is pretty small and not a ton of hot water for a good shower but...

"Wow! What an incredible property in an incredible town. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Excellent communication ahead of our arrival and a warm welcome when we arrived.The property itself is exceptional. A historic building that has been renovated and furnished to perfection. We appreciated every attention to detail and touch that the hosts had taken to make the stay was truly memorable. There was some slight noise from the street but this quieted down before midnight every evening...

"A nice hotel just next to the old town, very conveniently located. The rooms are nice and clean, everything was great. The gym is super small but it’s ok for a basic training if nobody else is there."

"Very nice accommodation and nice breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We went from the 10th October and had nice weather and swam in the sea. However the beach bar and outdoor pool had closed, shortly after arrival. So for some late sun, I would recommend late September, first weel of October to get the full use of facilities."

"We stayed at the Amphora in October break which meant the hotel was relatively quiet, it appeared as if they’d reduced the staff. The main restaurant disappointingly was closed, we were served in the breakfast room by a single waiter who was unable to cope with demand - food there was not great. Location is fine as long as your either up for a long but pleasant walk or happy to take a taxi, beware some of the local taxis are fierce at overcharging €95 for 2 miles from port to hotel - after that one I used Uber for everything which was good. The promenade and beach were excellent. Spa facilities were good easy to access with capacity in October, would be interesting in August. Room was nice and clean with amazing view of Adriatic Sea from balcony. Overall I would recommend staying in the hotel and eating out, Split city was very interesting with nice cafes and restaurants"

"The front of the building has an elevator but the back of the building were our rooms are located has none. You have to go out the front building and walk to the side and enter the doors of the back building which I feel is unsecured. It could dark at nights and might stepped on dog poop(?). Else everything is fine. You have to ask for a kettle since they didn't leave one in our room. There is a receptionist at least always. Taxi or Uber could not enter the narrow road and needs to walk a little bit only."

"Loved this property. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and had a balcony which was lovely to sit and play cards with a drink. There was also a washing machine and a couple of all in one tabs which was helpful. Very central but also easy to park close by. As this was an apartment, we could have cooked, everything was provided, as well as a coffee machine. Couldn’t fault it at all. Breakfast was up the road in a small cafe, also nice"
