Amenities. There was absolutely no entertainment. While the seclusion from reality was beautiful there should have been a bit more to provide guest. A city slicker like myself— the bugs , critters and other unexpected and unwanted creatures were not pleasing.

Honestly, it's a beautiful property, and if you're looking to enjoy some solitude or spend quality time with your partner, this is definitely the place for you. Since it’s situated in the heart of nature, we encountered frogs and other insects, but they had mentioned this before booking, so I can't fault them for it. It’s a unique experience that everyone should try, just as we did. The food was excellent, although the staff forgot to clean the villa. We weren’t informed during check-in that we needed to notify them in advance for cleaning. However, we made some suggestions and received a personal message from the owner, which felt great because they acknowledged our feedback. It's a beautiful place, but it was a bit too quiet for our liking.

This property was a dream. We booked and stayed in the cocoon on a last minute whim and I’m so thankful we did. By far my favorite stay in all of Bali. Peaceful, relaxing, and overall amazing. If you’re looking for a place off the beaten path to find peace, clarity, and relaxation then look no more. This is not like a normal hotel experience, you will be in a jungle-like surrounding with nature (so be okay with geckos and frogs in your hut that don’t bother you). I will never forget my stay at hideout from the service, food, nature, stream flowing right next to us, showering outside, listening to the creatures chirp away, jungle leaves surrounding us, etc. it was worth every penny and I would stay here 100x again if I could.

A unique experience to hideout. We booked lightroom and it was perfect. We had welcome drinks and snacks. Staff so friendly and down to earth. Food is delicious. Fried rice was the star of all dishes. Everyone commincates via watsup so any questions or oders, gets done quick. Highly recommend this place. To stay here be open to outdoor vibes and expectations. Drive from airport is 2 hours but the scenery is amazing. You get to see real village lifestyle.

We had a lovely stay at Hideout. It’s truly amazing to be in the middle of the jungle with nature & no distractions. As we are working in a city, this felt like the perfect break to celebrate our 1st year anniversary. The staff were also so helpful and kind. The villages nearby were also very sweet, it was a serene experience. In cocoon we got to stay near the river, so it was so refreshing to hear the sound of the river throughout the night. As it is in the heart of a jungle there will be a few insect noises at night, and a few creepy crawlers. This does not indicate that the place is not clean, it was always looking spotless, by as the toilet is outside it is to be expected.
