Quite neighborhood in a convenient location

Love the screened in porch and cleanliness. Could use some updates and freshen the look a little. Smells like an old cottage. Otherwise, a decent place to stay.

The owner was awful

The owner had a ring doorbell, my husband rang the doorbell when he was locked out of the home.. it rang the homeowner not the house and the homeowner told him its not for ringing the house? He spoke to our children through the ring (unacceptable). He turned up the ac when we werent home. So we disconnected the wifi so he wouldnt have home control while we were there. He harrased us through the rental company for the first 3-4 days and then showed up an hour before our checkout sat right out front our unit in his car harrasing us delaying our departure from the unit for 30 minutes because we called the cops to have him move, so we could pack in peace. If this wouldnt have happened none of the other small things would matter much.. but since he was awful here are the other things: no pool pass included, no 2nd parking pass included, hand soap was basically water, no hand towels for bathrooms provided, screen door was on the wrong tracks, wifi name was not provided at the unit with password and you could barely read the password. I wouldnt recommend this home to anyone unless all spying capabilities were removed from the owner.

Follow up

I was originally booked for 158 but the HVAC had not been working for several days, so I found out on the day of my arrival at 12:10. Check in is at 4 but I didn't arrive until 7. The HVAC was still not working because NO ONE BOTHERED TO FOLLOW UP. Long story short the HVAC needed a new part and I had to put into a different rental which didn't happen until 10:30 that night!! Keep in mind they knew that HVAC wasn't working for several days before I came. Take away message if you get notification of something happening before you arrive make sure you call about before you get there especially if it's something that could impact your stay! Let's not even talk about TV remote in the master that died or the living room cable that was locked on the children's station now that was just the icing on the cake 🎂 It took maintenance a whole day to get that sorted. Not my best vacation. The sad part is I was here before with a friend and had such a great time I thought I'd come back on my own...lesson well learned!!
