Charming home

Best equipped house we have ever stayed in! Full kitchen, comfortable beds, lovely hot tub, and exercise equipment! Great location, close to grocery store and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful newer propery

Overall had a delightful stay. New modern property with nice views. Fulky equipped kitchen and dining. Hot tub was plenty warm and enjoyable. Close to a lot of sights on the golden circle.

Great Location, Lovely Home

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. Clean, bright and welcoming with very nice homey touches. The hot pot was fantastic after a 6 mile hike. The location couldn't be beat, so close to all the sites for the Golden Circle. Communication with Sven was excellent. We flew in very late at night and his directions were perfect!

Very spacious, clean/spotless/new, and comfortable. Excellent view and peaceful area. Kitchen had everything we needed. The washer with built-in dryer was very convenient. WiFi worked great. Always had hot water available. Had regular coffee maker and Senseo coffee maker. Owners were great telling us what we need to know about the property (like how to fill and drain the hot tub). If I return for another Iceland trip this will be my first choice to stay at.

Great Home For Golden Circle & South Iceland

This wonderful home has it all. It is centrally located to all the wonderful attractions in the South Coast. Very spacious, but warm and inviting. The gourmet kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was very relaxing after a day of hiking. We were able to see a wonderful Northern Lights display with the wide open land around us. Would recommend and would stay here again on another trip to Iceland.

Simply Wonderful

The house was beautiful and clean. Our host met us the evening we arrived and was very welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped for us to cook just about anything. The hot tub was wonderful! We were lucky to see the northern lights one night from the house. The views from the house are stunning! If this is available do not pass it up! It was worth everything we paid for and more!

Excellent home base to see Iceland’s Southern Coast

My three adult children and I thoroughly enjoy our time in this lovely home that had plenty of space for us to spread out. Located a few minutes drive outside the town of Selfoss this was a peaceful home base for us as we explored Iceland’s southern coast and made the most of the extended daylight. House is well stocked and listing is accurate. The town of Selfoss had everything we needed from grocery stores to stock up on food for our hiking explorations to wonderful restaurants, banks and small shops. Communication was great and check In instructions were helpful and easy to follow. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful home - great location

The house was well appointed and beautiful. We visited all the nearby sites and loved our time there. Super comfortable and convenient. Only disappointment was that the hot tub (which you fill before using) didn't actually get hot, just like warm.

Das Ferienhaus liegt idyllisch und friedlich in einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Die Ausstattung übertrifft alle 'Ferienhaus' - Erwartungen, v. a. die Küchenausstattung ist beeindruckend. Besonders war der Service - die vergessenen Kopfhörer unserer Tochter wurden uns vom Vermieter ins Flughafenhotel gebracht! Vielen Dank nochmal!

Best decision we could have made for visiting Iceland!

This was a beautiful property in the perfect location! It was spotless and very thoughtfully equipped. For instance bathrobes- very useful when using the hotpot! Beautiful views out of every window. Especially loved seeing the horses every morning. Well equipped kitchen. The grill was super useful. We enjoyed touring and hiking all day and coming “home” to such a relaxing house. Highly recommend!

Great house and stay

CLEANLINESS: As other Vrbo users have commented the home is very clean, even the cutlery and dishes were very clean (some other places you can see they were not properly cleaned). The beds and sofa were not dusty (my daughter gets rash easily and she did not during our stay) AMENITIES: The house has everything we needed, a well appropriated kitchen, a washing machine, comfortable furniture/beds, functioning wifi and a hot tub LOCATION: Very convenient as a base for South Iceland. The home is in a quiet location (you do not hear any traffic noise) 5mins away from Selfoss, which has a large Kronan (our preferred grocery store) and smaller Bonus supermarket. It allowed us to conveniently do day trips to the major attractions like Vik, Geysir, Gulfoss, Vestmannaeyjar and Reykjavík SAFETY: We felt very safe in the house OWNER: Sven was responsive
