“Cute little space. Was a little freaked out when I discovered it was part of a larger house but it was very private. There’s no kitchen available. Did have a small fridge and coffee pot. Yard was kind of a mess but has a lot of potential to be nice! Has a nice back porch area. The neighborhood was a little sketchy as I’ve seen in all the reviews but it was okay. Jorge was very accommodating! Sent a message when we got in to find out how to adjust the air and he said he could do it for us……

“The host was very kind and welcoming. The home was so cute and charming! It was the perfect place for us to gather and stay to celebrate my daughter's graduation from UTSA. We had a wonderful time and it was the perfect place for us to all gather under the same roof. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. “For the most part, everything was as expected: the place is dated but clean, and the views are nice. The park next door was also a plus. However, some household items, such as linens (washcloths), hangers, trash bags were under provisioned. Plus, some maintenance is needed, for example, most of the outdoor light bulbs were out. These are the reasons it was not "excellent".”

“We rented for 3 nights to be in town for Air Force BMT graduation. The house is halfway between Lackland and the airport so only 15 to 20 minutes to each one and 15 to 20 minutes from downtown and the Riverwalk. We had enough room to spread out and just relax and spend time with our son and other family in a way that you just can't really do in a hotel room. The house was clean and the amenities were as described.”

“The River House was great it had everything you would need for the kitchen, plenty of towels, plenty of room. What a beautiful back porch with a great view of the river. I would recommend this house for young strong and healthy people due to the only reason that will prevent me from returning to this lovely house. This house has very steep steps in the front and back and no safety rails to assist you (except for one place about 4-5 feet where the steps are level). Not a place for any one with……
