“Sehr schönes, altes Gebäude mit herrlicher Dachterrasse! Alles sehr sauber!

“This property does NOT have a swimming pool. Don't be fooled by the photos like I was! The room we stayed in was pretty, but the patio was dirty and the outdoor shutter was broken. The communal outdoor seating area on the ground floor had not been cleaned recently, and neither had the table in the main room. The building, however, is beautiful and the location is fabulous. Easy access by bus.”

“The hotel, once you can manage to identify it and get in, was lovely. We received no information on the location of the hotel, the name of the hotel didn't match the booking, and both hotels in the village belong to the same company and we had no idea which we were in. There was no manned reception, and no-one answered the phone numbers supplied. Eventually another guest gave us a number to use WhatsApp on, and we got the check in details. Suffice to say we were not impressed. . . However, next……

“Amazing stay one of the best small hotel experiences we’ve had the staff could not do enough for you beautiful location and building food and wine first class highly recommend ”

“Great period property. Good breakfasts. Good location. Parking in town is difficult so expect to walk to restaurants for dinner.”

“We had an amazing stay at Alcázar. The room was beautiful, breakfast excellent, and the staff was truly professional and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!”

“Nice stay in a beautiful setting but expensive for stay overall.”

“Hotel caters mainly to German groups. They had to move us to a sister property which had one room available on top of the entrance where all smokers congregate. Staff and cleanliness were great. Food is plenty but bland and sometimes unappealing. Shout out to Daniel in restaurant for making us feel welcome. Generally the location and value were very good. May look for something with local feel next time.”

“Sehr zu empfehlen”

“Alles prima!”
