"Great location, but I would NEVER stay there again. Property manager did not email me until 11am the day of checkin with any information about our stay, did not respond to multiple emails, a text message and phone call. Their phone is only answered during “business hours,” which apparently does not include 9am on a weekday. When I made the reservation and paid for it, I was told I would receive an email from the property 48 hours before arrival. I had to get VRBO involved and they could not...

"The room & amenities were very basic but functional. A little strange that check-in was a hotel 20 walking minutes from the apartment building. Location was terrific - just outside the castle grounds and beautiful park and a short walk to the Higashi Chaya geisha district. The residents were friendly and helpful and friendly and the city was very lovely and not the bustle of Tokyo"
