This hotel is right on the lake yet there is no lake access. They have fences, barbed wire, and a huge retaining wall to block lake access. That's absolutely ridiculous. So forget about bank fishing or hanging out by the water. FWIW, I happen to run a hotel on a lake and we have boat docks, a fire pit, and more and the lake is the focal point of the property.
The room was OK, but it had brown stains on the wall and the bed was made sloppily. There's no towel rack at the shower.
The woman at the front desk was disinterested when I checked in and spoke so quickly and robotically I could not understand what she was saying. She also seemed to struggle with the computer system and it took much to long to check in.
Years ago I was both a Fairfield and Courtyard GM and this hotel was not up to the standards I was accustomed to. It wasn't terrible, but there was nothing about it that would make me want to stay there again.
