LAUGHING DUCK RANCH.... Canal property and just steps away from the beach!

Welcome to Laughing Duck Ranch! This cozy, comfortable house sits on a shared acre with 6' fence all around for privacy. This rental sits right next to a canal that offers so much wildlife! Nestle into the hot tub, grab a drink and enjoy watching the ducks, blue herons and so many more birds or sit next to the bonfire in the evenings and relax. This little neighborhood offers not just the canal but also just a half of a block walk to the Dungeness beach. Please let us know if you plan on bringing your pet. This is a pet friendly house and fenced in yard. Some small dogs may be able escape. We also offer a pet package inside the rental! *We do have a pet fee.

This is a wonderful stay. The home is comfortable and has anything you would need, and even has thoughtful extras for your dog. It was nice and quiet and a beautiful place to unwind. Close enough to town and the Olympics for some adventuring as well. I would stay here again if we travel back to the area.

Didn’t use the hot tub! Beds comfy, bathroom and kitchen very adequate. Our usual challenges with smart TV applications. Great fall color out the window and eagles nearby.

Fine as a launch point to the parks nearby: clean, equipped with basics, functional, communicative. But, frankly... it wasn't particularly pleasant to spend time in, and certainly not what I would describe as "cozy" (or a "ranch"). Everything but the kitchen is beige, with sparse, impersonal decor and inconsistent, often too-cold lighting. We didn't spend much time outside because the marshiness of the area made everything kind of stink. The highlight of our time was their incredibly friendly cat, who clearly thought the Vrbo was his as well. We were honestly considering going somewhere else until he distracted us. But on the other hand, despite his sweetness, he was still an outdoor cat illustrating the problems with that: along with a minor flea problem and our awareness of nearby coyotes, he was visibly eating the birds right there next to the wildlife areas we came to see. So, all in all... probably not somewhere we'd go again. Sorry. :(

Perfect location for our stay! Well equipped kitchen and nice beds. Grateful for the nice clean hot tub. Just a walk down the street to the beach. Got a visit from the chickens and ducks every day of our stay. If we come back to Sequim this house will be our first choice!

We felt at home in this clean organized home. The only bad thing is there was no air conditioning so the house was a little warm in the evening. Some windows could not be opened to let the cool evening air in. My only suggestion would be to have all windows accessible and add a screen door to the front so you can leave door open without letting bugs in. Relaxing Space

Space was clean, well stocked, had thoughtful touches, and a great info packet. We loved the hot tub and my dog loved the back yard. Easy access to all we wanted to see while being tucked away from the hussle and bustle. This is in a peaceful area of the city and you will need to travel 10 minutes to access any restaurants or stores just an FYI.

Laughing Duck Ranch was a fitting name.

A great place to stay to explore the area. So many birds to watch. The house was clean and cozy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub at sunrise, and in the evenings we watched the stars, again, from the hot tub. Perfection. Orange kitty visited daily.
