“This property is a great option vs. staying in the center of Salo, especially if you prefer an apartment to a hotel. It has excellent views of the lake and Salo across the narrow bay, a large balcony, modern kitchen, washing machine and updated bathroom. While there is a busy road in front of it, the traffic was not noticeable at night while sleeping. “Lovely apartment complex, 2 nice pools. Very clean and secure. Checkin time is 3-3:30 never usually early. You can order fresh bread and pastries each day from reception which is nice. Most but not all apartments have lake view ours was only a partial view. 100yards from part with a choice of around 5 bar and restaurant’s. 5-10 min walk uphill to town square with a few more restaurants and bars. Oasi restaurant are favourite is there. Supermarket 10min walk uphill, with a few others a 5 min……

“The owner was very helpful, I asked for a kettle and there was one waiting when we got there. She checked everything was ok , after we had done self checkin and check out. The location is a further out than we expected, we knew it wasn’t near the lake, but there was nothing near by , you definitely need a car … Fridge in room , and a microwave in the hall for everyone to use . It’s above a pizza restaurant , so you can eat there some nights ( wasn’t open Tuesday) but it was over the weekend.……

“Pros: Our host Dominque was very friendly & helpful. The apartment was well located with views of the main square & lake. The apartment fit out is new & with great facilities. Salo is a great place to see the lake & surrounds. The air conditioning was appreciated!”

“Place is on the 2 floor and very tight stairs, if you are a big guy and if you have large big bags it can be challenging. Main bedroom is also on the second floor. To get to main bed you will have to go up a tight spiral stair. Place was very charming, it had a balcony and also has a bathroom also up stair. A romantic place for an young couple. Very charming restaurants next to it and great place that sakes fresh bred every day and a small supermarket that you can buy many goodies.”
