Overall it's a fine place to stay. You can tell that they have renovated the property and what they have done looks nice. The garbage disposal wasn't working; I think the previous guests put some eggshells or shells of some sort down the disposal and it was blocked. My husband got that fixed. We arrived right after lots of rain and at the end of our stay there was more rain. I think there's a sump pump on the patio, but the pump wasn't working which led to the patio littered with lawn debris, cigarette butts, etc.
The resort is nice. Pool area, hot tub and cabana area were all great. We didn't do enough research, because we thought we could walk from our beach area up to the 7-mile beach area....actually we thought our beach area was part of 7-mile beach but we were informed it is not. Apparently once upon a time you could make the walk along the beach but over the years the beach has washed out in places, so you actually have to walk along the road about a mile or so and then cut back to the 7-mile beach area. The resort itself does have a beach which is very nice, but you just can't walk up and down the beach like we anticipated.
During the weekdays the resort is very quiet - not a lot of people out by the pool At times it was just us. During the weekends, it was very busy.
