We had a great time staying in this house. We were a group of seniors from the university of toledo making the most of our spring break. The house is in a great location and everything was within a good driving distance. I would definitely stay in this house again.
Great secluded cabin. It was spacious and bedrooms all with the exception of one have their own bathroom. The location is great if you want to be away from people and noise. View is good from here. Had everything you could need to stay entertained, it’s great but would be perfect if it has a fire pit. This is the only thing we were missing. Other than that I’d definitely recommend staying here.
Other than some dust issues in the kitchen and lack of hot pads and kitchen towels, the cabin was great. Secluded with lots of things to do if the weather is bad. But close enough to drive to hiking trails or town for shopping, eating, miniature golf or a myriad of other things to do.
The stay was wonderful. But only had a few issues with hot water in one of the showers and cold water in the tubes. In the restroom on the top floor and also another issue with the last bedroom restroom where the shower head didn’t work.
The property had everything our group of ten needed for our stay in the Smokies. Check in and check out instructions were super simple and the property managers were in touch with us by text from before we arrived until we left. We definitely appreciated that there were ample supplies like garbage bags, toilet paper, soap, etc. provided. It is nice to be secluded, head out during the day, and have our own quiet place with great views, kitchen, and plenty of games to play in the evening. There were a few things that needed touching up around the house but nothing that took away from our stay. Definitely recommend Cabin on the Edge.

House is Great, the rest not so much
House is great, but the facility managment portion was a series of disasters. We arrived to filthy house (clumps of dust and dirt on the floors, sand and animal hair in carpets, garbage inside the house, on the floors, under the tables/beds/chairs/couches, used toilets with urine and feces, garbage thrown all over outside ...). The property manager never checked the house before we checked in. They said that there 'was contractors' working there the DAY OF our check in and the 'contractors left a mess". There was nothing to clean the house with (we were told there was vacuums and brooms that we never found). There was also a leak from the ceiling that broke two ceiling tiles and left the hallway flooded. The rental company said that they would reimburse 'half of the cleaning fee', which never happened and it is not equal to the level of mess we checked into. The property owners should be made aware of the neglect to their property and how poorly it is being managed.

Great place with some issues.
Excellent location and property layout. Very clean inside. However, some maintenance issues need to be addressed. Example: Ice Maker not working, Door handles falling off, and hinges loose. Smoke detector on floor. Gravel on driveway erosion where it meets the road. There is extensive litter in the yard surrounding the house. Bottles, plastic, and other debris. While this did not overly distract from the stay, thus the 4-star rating. Other issues with the property include the barbeque internals are missing. The fireplace was nonfunctional, and the weather was chilly. The coded entry had numbered keys which were not in the correct order, the numbers 5 and 8 were in the incorrect positions, making entry very difficult. Requiring multiple phone calls to management. We would definitely stay again if these issues were corrected.
Beautiful large cabin in ideal location 30 mins from both Dollywood and Gatlinburg. Dollar General and dining within 10 minutes. Some moderately steep curves on drive up but very little traffic coming other way. Outstanding.
Because of flight delays we didn’t end up getting to the house until 4:00am. When we woke up next morning I tried to take a bath but our hot water handle was broken. I messaged directly and they had me send a picture and said they would get someone out to fix it but no one ever came and we stayed until Saturday. So we weren’t able to use our tub. Lots of other little inconveniences like broken blinds, no weather stripping on bottom of living door really noticed when a large storm blew through Tuesday night. No dish towels to dry dishes but overall the house was large and housed our large group well. Plenty of cups dishes and utensils. Since no one was renting directly after our stay they offered us a discount for an extra night which we took advantage of so we could sleep in because we didn’t have to fly out until 6:00pm Saturday. Everyone had a bed and slept great. I just think the house is probably older and needs a little TLC but overall the little things would not deter us from renting again. AND yes there is bear activity one tried to get into all of our cars. My husband scared it away.
