GOOD TO KNOW This is a mountain property, and some roads in the area are steep. A 4-wheel-drive vehicle is recommended, especially during poor weather. The hot tub runs scheduled filter cycles and can be heard from the bedroom. It is drained and refilled between stays, so it may need time to reach temperature after arrival. Rain can sound louder on the cabin’s metal roof, which light sleepers may want to consider.
The red tape:
-Please read through our entire listing and make sure you are comfortable with all of our house rules.
-Please note we do require all of our guests to sign a rental agreement within 48hrs of booking in order to stay at the cabin. If this is not completed, we will be forced to cancel the booking.
*We STRONGLY recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance for peace of mind and protection as we do not have any control over the weather or other things that may happen on your end.*
- All guests must be 21+ (children with parents are allowed). We do make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. If you have questions, please reach out to us and ask.
- 4 Human max.
- 2 Vehicle max.
-This is a smoke-free home, including the back deck and front porch. No smoking of any substance, including vaping. If you smoke on the property, you will be asked to leave without a refund and be charged an additional cleaning fee of $500.
-No early check-in or late check-out. If you arrive early or depart late there will be a $50 charge. If you depart more than one hour past your designated check-out time, you will be charged for an additional night.
- Absolutely no fires inside or out. Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $300 plus damages.
- No pets. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $300 and you will be asked to leave without a refund.
- No parties or events of any kind. If you host a party or event, you will be asked to leave without a refund and charged an additional cleaning fee of $300.
- No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/early guest departures/other things that are beyond our control.
- You will likely see and hear critters due to being in the wilderness. It is very common to see bears in the Smokies.
-The hot tub is available for use by all guests, including children with the supervision of adults. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK!
*The hot tub is drained and refilled after every stay to ensure cleanliness, which means there is a good chance that the hot tub may not be ready to use for your first night. It is a large amount of water and can take hours to heat up to temperature. This is standard practice for all cabins in the area, and you will run into the same issue at almost any place you stay. If you want to use the hot tub during your stay, we recommend you check it upon arrival to make sure it is set to your desired temperature and is working properly.
*Please note that the hot tub does run a filter cycle for two hours twice a day. The hot tub is located on the deck outside the bedroom so you may notice some noise while the hot tub runs its filter cycle.*
- Condiments, ziploc bags, foil, and charcoal are not provided.
-We provide a starter kit of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, hand soap, and dish soap. For extended stays, you may need to purchase more.
-We provide wall-mounted shower dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
-Our cabin is located in the mountains, so while it is not a necessity, we do recommend a 4-wheel drive vehicle not only for coming to the cabin but for getting to all of the other attractions that the Smoky Mountains have to offer!

Great location, it was in the middle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg. The cabin was pretty clean and owners were very easy to get a hold of. We also enjoyed the coffee bar they had and hot tub.
The cabin is perfect for a getaway. We enjoyed everything about it from the cleanliness to the hot tub. It’s not far from the attractions. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!
We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was just as described. Loved the cabin feel with the cozy fireplace and enjoyed the hot tub on the patio. Very clean and the owner was great at communicating from booking to checkout. Great location right in between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Will definitely stay again for our next visit to the area.
This is a wonderful place for a get away! 5 stars!!!Very clean, everthing is as shown online, quiet area, cozy and comfortable! Perfect area to be, right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! Easy to get to. Wifi works great for streaming and phone connectivity. We will definitely stay again should we visit the area again.
We had a great time! The location of the cabin was in the middle of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which was perfect! Justin was great at communicating with us. Cabin was so nice clean! We would stay here again.
I was able to get this cabin booked and set ready for our trip the host was easy to contact and they was willing to help us make the trip better and I appreciate that a lot. The cabin was all ready and set when we have arrived I’m in a lost of words of how our trip turned out Good. The cabin was clean and the beautiful view was amazing me and my girlfriend will be staying here again in the future we can’t wait!!
The cabin itself is beautiful and was very clean! Also a fantastic location in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Very communicative hosts as well. I liked having a website that had all the information that we needed on it. The only real complaint was that the WiFi absolutely did not work for most of our stay. It eventually came to life by the end though. There is a disclaimer that the Wi-Fi can be slow sometimes, but not working is different than slow. It made the Roku TVs useless. Be prepared to work off of cell service if necessary.
Finally, a cabin that was as good, if not better than advertised. Very clean inside and out, no bugs, comfortable size, furniture, and bed. Great location- not secluded, but not in a big group with many others, so was private and quiet. Very easy to get to also. I read the previous reviews before choosing Gnatty and Nice. Any things that were suggested by them, they were improved by the host. For example, shades and curtains on all windows for privacy. Easy check in and great details of information beforehand. Excellent communication, and attitude, from the host when I contacted them! And we were treated as their priority. A hot tub malfunction was handled early the next morning at our discretion. It's not a new cabin but is updated very nicely and professionally. We also did not pay new cabin prices! There are tons of places to choose from, but for us, this will be our first choice when returning to the area. I would 100% recommend, just as long as our 2 weeks each year are still available. Thank you for a fantastic relaxing vacation!

Pubic hairs on sheets/cabin dirty
We stayed the first week of June this year and also last year the first week of July. We drove 12 hours and was ready for bed and pulled back comforter to see pubic hairs on sheet, also found the tv remote under the pillows. We stripped the bed including the sheet protector and discovered urine stains all over the mattress. Stayed up until next morning to wash all bedding. I took photos and sent to the host. This happened our first stay last year and I brought to his attention when we booked last month and he assured me it would be taken care of. This was our 25th anniversary and what we loved about the cabin was the view from the upstairs bedroom. Surely this wouldn’t happen a second time…but it did.
To make a long story short the floors were filthy we spent an entire day cleaning, mopping and fixing/repair a broken rocker from the previous guest, loose faucet handles and stuck doors that made it difficult to open (upstairs) and difficult to dead bolt the front door (this was needed repaired from last year). We did this because that’s the kind of people we are. You know the “golden rule”….so we thought all was good.
Regardless we considered staying again because this was all in the past and no way would this happen a third time if we decide to book..the text I got from the host was that he didn’t think that his cabin was the right fit for us. So if you expect a clean bed and cabin this one isn’t the right fit for you!
We very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. The location to everything was fantastic. Very quiet and relaxing, enjoyed coming back every night and unwinding. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything we needed!!
Loved our stay at this cozy cabin. Everything needed was provided. Host was very willing to help in any way. Would definitely stay here again! Highly Recommend!
