Our first time trying Vrbo and overall our stay at this location was good. Cabin needs more improvements and I would highly recommend to host reinforce on dogs must be crated while you out in town without them. It did affect certain things at our cabin. My dogs were crated when we were out in Dollywood and other places. It’s a good location with short drive to many entertainments. WiFi worked perfect. Driving up and down hill was a tricky task but we made it. Road needs more maintenance done. Didn’t have any trouble communicating with the Host.

It’s a great central location to all the attractions. Bring 4x4 or All Wheel as it is in the mountains and absolutely beautiful views at night.

Cabin and host were great, very quiet. Road is narrow in places and very hilly. We had no problem going up or down in a 2023 Kia Sportage. May have been hard if there was snow on hill. Host said in bad weather, you may need a 4x4.

Comfortable place

The cabin was basic but very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The road up to the cabin is paved (single lane) but needs repairs. The bathroom is not built for handicapped or large people. You would need to bring things like dish towels,dish soap,soap, laundry articles, spices for cooking with, etc. our 4 day stay was comfortable and felt safe. Family vacation

We have stayed in this area before. Really like that it is close to dollywood because of small kids. Only complaint is the washing machine could use a good cleaning and some minor paint and trim issues but place was clean and nice.

Anniversary trip

Very cute little quaint cabin. Property and view was beautiful and relaxing. Only thing we didn’t like was that the gate was already open every time we entered/left property.

Christmas in the cabin

Overall the property and location were great. Very clean with the basic supplies. Only a couple minor things: kitchen sink had a leak under cabinet, air hockey table only had 1 hand “thingy” so we couldn’t play. Otherwise it was exactly as expected. Great view, comfy beds, wi-fi worked great (with roku included), super easy to get access codes and get in when we got there, hot tub was warm. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I just wouldn’t want to have to go up the driveway in snow or ice. 😬 Would definitely rent again.

Nice cabin on the mtn

I liked cabin. It is nicely located in the between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The only thing is be prepared to go up a step road to get to the cabin. The only problem we had was the smoke detector was beeping and I had to beat it off the wall.

Laurel one is great cabin. Very clean. It is close to everything without being in the middle of the crowds. Would definitely stay here again.

Do not recommend

First off, the hot tub was unable to be used because it was leaking water so bad. Rather the water was freezing or it was drained out. There was no view of the mountains, maybe this would be different around the winter months. The air hockey table was also chipped up and broke. The pictures are very misleading. Was secluded so that was nice and was not far away from food and entertainment.

Good time under the circumstances

Because our stay was during a pandemic, it was not the vacation we originally planned. We still had a good time though. The cabin was fine but is in need of some up keep and there were quite a few bees and wasps making nests in the beams and siding. The property owner didn’t communicate well. I sent him a message about a week before our stay asking about check in procedures and what kind of cleaning would be done. The only response was that check in procedures would be sent on the day of check in. He never answered the question about cleaning so we took cleaning supplies and disinfected the whole cabin when we got there. There was only 1 extra garbage bag in the house and they were small. We were a family of 4 there for 6 nights so I had to buy garbage bags which I found annoying. Overall we had fun hiking and enjoying the mountains but the cabin was just adequate.

Amazing!

Fantastic cabin. Plenty of room, great location. Looking forward to another visit to the Smokies. I will definitely be booking with Mr. Farmer again!
