“Perfect for a quiet break away.”

“We stayed at the hut for four nights and found it beautifully designed, and to our surprise quite spacious compared to huts we've stayed in before. There is plenty of space for two people to sit around and relax and a very adequate kitchen (we only used the microwave, but there is a double hob and cooking utensils provided). The bed is 'cabin style' and very comfortable, with some storage space at one end which is quite convenient so your bits and bobs don't fill up the dining/kitchen area. The……

“We had a wonderful time at the Deerleap Lodge. The cabin was very comfortable, well equipped and clean. The hosts Neil and Lorna were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for visiting the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu and the beaches. All in all, we had a lovely time.”

“On arrival we found milk in the fridge, and biscuits on the table which was a nice touch. There was emergency contact details on the fridge, and wifi details. Well appointed property, close to Shanklin Chine, beach, amusements, restaurants, chippy and crazy golf. The property was very clean, (and this is from someone who is OCD about cleanliness), and well equipped. If I was to suggest one improvement, it would be useful to have a top cupboard in the kitchen for food storage. The only downside……

“It really is a very cosy and inviting yurt, with wonderfully eclectic decor. The owner made me feel very welcome, and it was fun to sit on the boardwalk in front of the yurt and listen to curlews. It is a short walk into the village for provisions, and there is a bus stop just a few metres' walk away. The road behind the yurt is a little busy in 'rush hour', but the position makes up for it. I haven't been to the island since I was a moody adolescent. It's lovely, full of variety.”

“Such a cute little hut, everything you need is there. Amazing sun rise to be seen from the hut in the mornings. So peaceful. Enough garden for the kids to enjoy safely. Thank you Tom for a brilliant stay we’ve thoroughly enjoyed our week on the island”
